Already guys, it’s game time. Jaime, Heidi and myself (Robert) are ready to throw our hats in the ring and make a run for the stage this fall. And what better way to get ready than create the most EPIC BB.com journal ever, lol.
But seriously, this should be fun. I get to share this journal, contest prep and the stage with two super women. We’re definitely going to have a blast sharing this prep season with all of you too, and for us this will definitely motivate us to get into insane contest shape.
Along the way there will be plenty of workout recaps, rants, raves, ramblings, plus progress pics (or nudez as Jaime and Heidi say), and probably some dungeon gym training vids I’m sure....
All in all this should be a great ride, and we hope that you jump on board with us.

This is with the Ontario Physique Association (OPA) which is a stream of the CBBF, the Canadian version of the NPC. So ultimately were gunning for IFBB Pro Status....wait, did I just say that? lol Maybe we should just try to get on stage first.
I have competed twice before, with the IDFA in Canada, the last show being in July of 2010. Here are a couple of backstage shots from that show.
I weighed in at 189 lbs that day, and ended up placing 5th in the heavyweight class. Needless to say I am going to have to best this condition by a lot to have any semblance of hope in the OPA show in November. But I’m up for the challenge.
This Saturday I am officially 17 weeks out. Time to get to work.

About Mo
This will be my first 'real' contest. I've competed before in several online transformation type contests and had a blast!! I took first place, 3rd, 5th, and then second. Won lots of cool supplements!!
I have been really, really fat (like in the 190s on a 5'3 frame) and then lean-ish (down to 133 in 2007) ... but no where near stage ready. Currently, I'm sitting pretty somewhere in the middle. My best guess is I have at least 25-30lbs to drop in order to look like I belong up there. <--- Quite the daunting task, but I'm going to give it my all!!

Edit: About my training:
4x per week PHAT split. Cardio is at 30 min 3x weekly for now. Just finished four weeks of 'fat burn interval hell' (thanks Jme!) and I loved every second if it!!

This day may suck...I've been up since 3am and unable to get back to sleep. I was hoping to train back this morning when Evan takes his first nap so I hope I have some drive around that time.
I should have the energy though. Yesterday I had my re-feed. I don't count the carbs, just eat my fill...which is a lot. If I had to guesstamate, I'd say I easily went over 1000g. Cereal, cake, pancakes, crispy minis, bananas, oats, cream of wheat....I can pack it away easily.
My pre re-feed weight was 214.5
This morning (which won't be too accurate since I've been up since 3 and have been taking in fluids) is 218lbs.
I'll probably see that number go up tomorrow. There seems to be a 2 day lag on my weight spike...who knows....
