You will be super cool with the abs Mo!
Not feeling the most energized this morning. The worst feeling was when I was through with the weights and it was time to crank out the cardio. My legs felt like jello, and all I wanted to go was go home. But that's not an option these days...

Not a good sleep at all last night. Took a while to fall asleep, woke up way before I was planning to. Rolling out of bed this morning was not a welcomed idea.

Big Things Poppin'
So, good things are happening all around. Work is great, the kidlet is great, dogs are great (minus the HUGE barf on the carpet this AM) #fail (But I still love them) LOL
I am starting to notice differences in my hips, thights, GLUTES and upper body overall. Amazing. I feel great, I am still hitting strength PRs in the gym and my diet is 110% ON the money.
The higher volume + higher cardio regime seems to be working nicely. I am excited to see where the chips fall on Nov 3.
I am currently doing 6 x 45 min MISS sessions per week with one additional HIIT session too. I have never done this much cardio in my life and I WILL reap the rewards!!
Story:
Last night at the gym the general manager (female) approaches me and tells me that her BF was blown away by my lifts and strength etc. Of course I'm overjoyed THEN she asks me how she can get muscular arms and shoulders like mine!! WUT? Now I'm butter in her hands.... so I say 'train with me!' and she says ok!!
So I've found myself a training parter for a couple of nights per week AND she's mirin' my gunz. /i'mdoingsumfinright =)Team Amazon: Sisterhood of Iron

So I had a long heart to heart with my coach yesterday. He essentially said he gets the feeling that there are days where I'm in this prep 100%, and days where I'm not in it at all. He said there's no shortage of ambition or drive, but that sometimes the physical doesn't always translate into what's going on in my head/heart. Moral of the story: I have a renewed passion, and am going to give the next 4.5/7.5 (eek) weeks 100%... every day. Today I sent him pics. He said that even though the scale has been moving slowly (I'm sitting at 149.4), the pics show I'm losing weight and getting tighter each week.
Rob... ******... just sayin...
Mazel tov on the training partner, Mo! I can tell you first hand what a difference it will make!!! You're going to do great!Contest Prep Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146273283&p=911273403&posted=1#post911273403

Awesome news Heidi - keep that train a chuggin'.
Jaime, great pics. You're really leaning out. And your midsection is a mile long...my short, wide one is pathetic in comparison. I've never really noticed a huge resemblance between you and your mom, but it really shows in these pics - nice!Team General Mills

148.6!!!
Don't know what to do with myself. SO happy!!! The scale moved, I feel incredible. I have been nervous this week because Berto changed the volume of my workouts - I'm now doing Wendler's 5/3/1, which IMO, is very low volume for being 4 weeks out. I'm only running this for 3 weeks, then will change for peak week, get back on for 2 weeks, then back to peak week plan for the second show. I'm leaving it all in his capable hands, but I won't deny that I'm nervous about only doing MAYBE 12-16 sets per workout... Oh well!
Highlights from yesterday (which aren't so high when your calories were dropped by 10g of fat from now on...)
Squat - 145 x 5
Leg Ext - 160 x 8
Leg Curl - 11- x 8
I don't really have a typical girl's body; even though i'm 5'7", most of my height is in my torso, not my legs. Girls usually have long legs, but I got a torso... which is only really convenient when I have abs.
And thanks for the mom comment
YA! I DO!!! Thanks for always having my back, d!Contest Prep Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146273283&p=911273403&posted=1#post911273403

From posing practice this aft I think I'm on target for 4/7 weeks. Yes! Going to keep practicing with Joanne and by myself. Pics will be hidden for the next 4 weeks (the gratuitous AB shot will show up, as always lol)
Had an awesome workout with Rob today... Even if we were both dogging it a little.
Contest prep energy FTW! Luv you, brother!

Be super careful, Mo! Seriously. Squating, any heavy compound movement, when your body isn't wanting to can lead to long term damage. I don't wanna have to come up there and carry you to the surgeon Be very careful!!!!!
Ugh! Waking up with a headache is the worst! Hope the drugs kicked in.Burning Fat Cells One Rep At A Time
