What muscle groups should i work together?

I am new to bodybuilding and wondering what are the best muscle groups to work on in the same day?

Doesn't matter as long as you're training every muscle 2-3 times a week. Good splits to accomplish this are upper/lower, push/pull/legs, and full body.

Since you're a begginer don't train 2 muscle groups, try al least first 2-4 months one muscle group per day then u can mix.

Other way around, his strength is so low that he is not going to overtrain very easily

    This.

For a good Upper/Lower = Lyle McDonald's Generic Bulking Routine
For a good Full Body = Babylover's Starting Strength or Reg Parks beginner routine (see weight gain sticky)

You should pair up the two muscles that you use. Such as chest, shoulders, and triceps. Then back, legs, and biceps. And make sure that you do not train the same muscle two days in a row. Muscles needs a 48 hour rest period. And as a beginner you do not need to train every single day, you should train each muscle 2-3 times a week. It isn't because his body is weak or isn't strong enough to overtrain. It is because his body does not NEED to workout that much in order to show gains, overtraining for a beginner is fairly easy. Just train each muscle 2-3 times a week for about 2 months, then you can increase the frequency and intensity.

You could do chest with biceps and back with triceps, and not train shoulders on chest day if you want to keep the muscles as fresh as possible for when you train them directly. However it doesn't really matter that much if you're muscles are a tad fatigued from other exercises before you hit them directly. Just wait for 3 minutes and get into it. If you're doing a routine where you train your upper body one day, and you don't want your triceps to be too fatigued from bench press for when you do overhead extensions, then do backwork after chest work, then do tricep work, so that whilst working back you've had several minutes for your triceps, (used in bench press), to recover so you can use heavier weight.

Results wise, whether the muscles you want to hit directly are slightly fatigued from other exercises which indirectly hit these muscles... Or whether you structure your program so this is not a factor... It ultimately matters little. Ultimately this kind of thing is simply relevant for the way that you prefer to train.
