Personal trainer salary in Canada?

I am going to be going for my cert in a few months when I turn 18, I just wanted to know what the average salary is for a personal trainer.

More like it'll be minimum wage when you start (if you work for a commercial gym), or 0 if you work for yourself, until you start getting clients

You don't get a salary - you get paid if you are working with clients only. Some gyms will pay you a small amount for doing assessments or evaluations at the beginning to try to sell training. Nobody is going to pay you to just hang out at the gym. It's one of the huge adjustments a lot of new trainers aren't prepared for at the beginning when they have no clients and are therefore getting no income.
