She already hates my gut, my beard, the fact that I'm going bald and won't use the rogaine she bought me, and the fact that I'm never home in the evening because I'm always training. I figure by the time I'm old she'll either have left me or she'll be completely defeated.

I'm not gonna mess with sumo right now in the middle of my training cuz I don't want to take away from my conventional progress. Maybe I'll try it out some more once my weekly progress stalls and I go to deload. The bottom of my sumo feels so tight in my hips, I think I need to fix my mobility before I try to sumo correctly.

I competed in April, totalled like 935 (not the best day. almost bombed on squats but hit my 3rd attempt. redlights on 2nd and 3rd bench. then 3/3 on deads). Competing again next april and shooting for 1150-1200.
I've hit 430x5.
I struggled to pull deads for reps for a long time, then hopped on 5x5 and started pulling heavy reps, and my deads made a pretty good jump. I went from like 365x3 to 440x3 in like 9 weeks. Reps build strength really well for me.

I'm right behind you brother. Was doing singles on deadlift for about a year. Now I'm doing reps. I've done 415x4, 425x4, and 435x4 all resetting at the bottom. Then this week I did 445x4 bouncing off the bottom. I guess I'm worse than you at repping.

Are you part of the USAPL FB Group? I thought someone said on there alittle while back that they will be using the new weight classes since it is a qualifier for an IPF World Meet. You could ask on there and Priscilla, Tony, or someone else who knows more might be able to confirm.
