Well there is two reasons I dont post there.

1. Squats always hit depth.
2. That format makes me want to punch infants.

This! I just read through some of the posts and that **** is ridiculous.

Not to derail from the Outlaws bashing, but has anyone in here looked into Brandon Lilly's Cube Method? I just started it, and will hopefully be working directly with Lilly in a few months. Should be fun, and will give me a break from the 5/3/1 madness.

Yup.

My training days are focused on one compound and secondary/accessory work is rather low intensity. This differs a lot from what Lilly does, but is done so that I can train events on a separate day with some effectiveness while still training to improve static strength.

He's supposed to have a book out within the next few weeks, that should shed some light on how to better set it up.

That being said, I like how it's going so far. It was a welcome change from 5x5.

I dont think this section is that bad, yet. The first of the year is coming and I will be taking a sabbatical from the p/l section until February to avoid the vast amount of stupidity here.

does anybody have a direct link to where brandon describes his method? I remember seeing it on his blog a while back, and I want to read it again, but I really can't stand wading through half of the alpha this, alpha that crap that he writes.

Most of his posts are pretty good. He's like the new-age Jim Wendler...

I don't have a direct link, but I know his blog is only a few months old so there can't be more than 20ish posts.
He still doesn't really elaborate on it much because:
1. He's working on an ebook, so giving the info out for free wouldn't be in the best interest
2. He's selling personalized programming at like $150 a pop. So again, it doesn't go into detail

I was able to piece together enough to start the program by reading a bunch of logs from people who were paying for the programming.
