What would you all consider a decent bench for a raw lifter? Just curious

11-14-2012, 01:10 PM #6801It'd be like staying fat while running marathons because it's more impressive to finish a marathon when you're overweight. It might be impressive in the short run, but in the long run it just doesn't make any sense. ~breathinglife

300 lbs is my lifetime bench goal
The muscles i value most are the ones directly surrounding the spine, the hips, the scapula, the femur and the tibia... in that order.
Basically the whole body minus chest and biceps... pretty much the opposite of what your local gym looks like on a typical Monday.

Its said 32 allows your body to recover so you can realize your strength gains. In the 5 or so Sheiko cycles i've run (not CMS/MS yet tho) i've found I was not any stronger on Wk1 (skills day) of 32 than I was on comp day.
You could do 29/37, then do the first week of 32. If you felt recovered, repeat 29/37. If not, continue with 32. I have a feeling you wont need to run all of 32.... doing CMS/MS tho, THATS a different storyRAW ELITE OR DIE

Oh there will be RAW which is just a cotton t-shirt. Then you can go gear and wear your bowling shirt. And even though it isn't an actual division, dumb people on forums will talk about RAW RAW which is no wrist protector. Also, we will break the divisions by age, weight, right handed or left handed, spin or no spin, thumb in or thumb out of hole, and bumpers or no bumpers that way everyone gets a medal.
