well, technically i'm just a weak poser - until i do my first meet but something always seems to tear or injury a few weeks before every meet I plan to do. i should just stop being a puss and just go do one on some weekend and not plan it out lol.

werd, my squat might be somewhat normal by then. might do orlando barbell's push/pull dec 29 since im rehabbing squatz. I was actually gonna do the USAPL meet last febuary and I tore my hip up 3-4 weeks out.

We might have to change the rule of no sex the night before competition for you to no sex 1 month out. Those hip thrusts are dangerous!

you might be able to jump straight into CMS/MS. Realistically i'd rather see you jump to something to a lower program first. 29-37-32 might be ok, but something like 37-31-32 might be better given your capabilities. im a believer in doing "less until more is required"

Also, I really have no immediate plans to compete again. Could I perpetually do prep cycles and incrementally add to my maxes? Or are the comp cycles required?

I think the comp prep cycles are important to drop volume and realize some of your strength gains. That and will give you a good idea of what to plug in for next prep cycle.

I knew you were that one but it doesn't go without saying because if you've ever noticed, the entire powerlifting section is Asians.

I guess this is true....me, you, and Trah are all technically Asian. Then you have the "real" Asians like Bill, Becky, Link, Jacob, and Jordan.

And wouldn't we "technically" be Caucasian? Atleast that is what I have to mark on any papers.

Yeah, I know there are plenty more but I got tired of listing. And I put Caucasian on my paperwork too because that's more specific to the region, but wouldn't Asia be the continent? I know that Iraq is considered by the military to be southwest Asia, and Iran is further east than that.

On a side note-Deloading due to injured wrist and thinking about a program change. I want to do something that involves a lot of squatting and deadlifting with also some hypertrophy work. Currently leaning out a touch and think a few heavy days a week with a hypertrophy day wouldn't be a bad idea. What does fam think?

Just pick something you can stick with for 6+ months. I know the life situation may not be optimal toward lifting, but maybe a full body 5/3/1 2-3 days a week would work well given its flexibility. You know that time and repeated effort is required to bring the results. Find a way to do that.
