Jeez, I'm only at 85g protein, 57.5g fat, and 10g carbs for the day. 897.5 calories total and its already 6:40pm. I guess I get a ton of calories from carbs that I need to re-route to protein and fat somehow.

Yeah, start there. Also, don't worry about calories. Counting calories is for no lifting women. We want to hit the macros. Your body will handle many more calories with one macro breakdown than another with the same resulting effect on weight.
Also, when running CBL, don't worry about weight after the prep phase for a few weeks. It will take a while for everything to be ironed out.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Alright, thanks. Yea I'm really not too worried about my bodyweight at all during CBL. Just thought it would be a good way to lose some fat while gaining some strength. Most likely, come Jan 1st, I will go on the Density Bulk and gain all the weight back but hopefully I'll have more muscle mass and stronger because of it. And as an added bonus, sticking to a nutritional plan should help me not eat out so much and save me money.

I figured if we talked about CBL enough in here, Bill would be nice enough to open the other thread. I guess not.
In other news, some kid tried to tell me to do DE deadlift work for sets of 2. I told him I've never seen any program do 2s for DE deadlift. He goes, have you heard of westside and 5/3/1? I tried to explain to him that westside does singles for DE deadlift and 5/3/1 doesn't have any DE work. He goes, I should know I did westside for 6 months. I proceeded to link him to a Louie Simmons article from westside barbell's site saying how DE deadlift is singles. He goes, oh my coach had me doing sets of 2. Poor kid paid some online coach for 6 months to write him a "westside" program.1372 @ 205

Any Michigan lifters gonna do that Relentless Detroit/Wolverine Open on Nov 17? I just signed up for it for some reason, even though I haven't lifted a heavy weight for like a year. Brb, totaling 900 @ 198 as a grown man!

Forgot to bring this up but it popped up into my mind just now. Did you know, atleast in the USAPL, it is cheating to video your lift, watch it, and then base your next attempt on what you saw? That's what I've always done and the rest of my teammates but apparently the meet director told me it is cheating and you can get DQed for it. Never heard of that before, gotta look at the rule book and see where that rule is hiding.

That's what I thought. And he was like you will get DQed in a National meet. And I told him I did it at Raw Nationals. I figured he is a collegiate national champion and a meet director so he must know what he's talking about. I'll read the rule book when I'm bored at work and see if I can find anything on it. He did say to email him with suggestions on how to make the meet better since this was his first one, so I'll be sure to mention that if I find something definitive.

I know people are probably sick of me saying this chit but it sure was fukking "backyard." I mean chit, lets set the All Time raw bench record over there, in front of the dumbell rack brah. Not to mention the spotters/announcers didn't seem to give many fukks about anything either.

I know.
I saw this bearded bear show up to spot on a bench attempt and I was like, "That is Bill!"
Yea, I looked through the rule book and hand book right now and didn't see anything. He was definitely being a nazi about the 1 min rule to put in your next attempt as well. And that was after telling all the new people during the rules briefing to not worry about being rushed because he was going to take time for everything since most of the people had never competed. I guess he was just a bit stressed out from running his first meet, he'll probably get better.
Yea it did look "backyard"ish with the stuff in the background. Plus, at times, it seemed like it was going slow as hell between lifters because the loaders were taking their time or the lifter was taking their time. Not seeing the lights in the stream seemed weird as well. Mark Bell walking around during the meet kind of reminds me of Dana White walking around at UFC events.1372 @ 205
