    Reasonable expectations?

Ive read the stickies related to goal setting... I'm curious what others have experienced first hand as i'm just starting out what kind of results can i expect in 4-5 months, with cardio, lifting and deficit eating... is it reasonable to lose 20lbs, have good definition ect? Has anyone with similar starting stats made a go of it, and with what results?

At your weight, it's reasonable to lose about a lb per week. Lift heavy, compound lifts, and often. Don't overdo the cardio, and make sure you hit your macros. 5 months is a long haul-give yourself diet breaks consistently. I'd personally eat at or slightly above maint once per week and take it up to maintenance for a week every 8-12 weeks.

If you want to lose weight, you gotta stick to your diet. It's the most important part.
