    Lost strength

    Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I just got back to lifting after 10 days off and I lost about 10 lbs from most of my lifts. My diet was the same so I was pretty surprised. So my question is how long do you guys think it will take to get back to my previous point?

    depends on alot of things...
-how long have you been lifting?
    -hows your diet?
-whats your max? 10lbs from a 50lb max is a huge difference than 10lbs from 1000lb max
    -how is your sleep schedule

Probably about a week - ie, next set of workouts you do will likely be back to normal.

You wouldn't lose actual STRENGTH from taking 10 days off - you probably just temporarily stored less glycogen, salt, etc. in your muscles, which caused you to be able to do less reps and weight.
