    Does cardio help build muscle?

    I am currently in my cutting phase and i am curious about doing cardio in my routine

    my workout routine is:

    Monday- Chest & Triceps

    Wednesday- Shoulders, Traps, & Legs

    Friday- Back & Biceps

    should i do cardio on my off days and will it help me somewhat in muscle building?

    Rarely, a lot of running might build leg muscle. Cardio is still essential though, for cardiovascular health.

    I thought you were cutting. But cardio more burns fat. If you want to build muscle on your abs don't run, do ab workouts. Cardio burns the fat.

    My main question was for gaining muscle while losing fat a lot of people were saying that when they bulk they also did low intensity cardio 20 mins because they gain fat fast so that way they gained muscle while not gaining too much fat with that muscle so if i were to do that in all my phases would it work since cardio also increases blood flow?

    Well cardio will get lactic acid out of your muscles so I guess you could say so.
