12-08-2012, 04:41 PM #2821"It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Great job Flex! That 550 looked very clean. I'm sure you've got another 20lbs in you
And great work on that triple
She's pretty cute but those biceps are bigger than my thighs

Thanks - I am determined to see this through, though my hair is really getting to be a royal pain. I can't wait for it to be short again. I think I may take advantage of it and get cornrow braids first, if only for the shock value.
Well, it's usually women who tell me that! And touch it . Though one guy at my gym did tell me he'd kill to have hair like me.
That's called a cephalium on top of the cactus. In this genus, the flowers are on the cephalium, and once it starts to develop, the cactus body doesn't grow any more. The cephalium gets taller each year until it has problems, um, staying up....
Holy crap - you must have a hell of a time fitting in a coach class seat!
Awesome stuff, FLEX!!Peace: Lift Long and Prosper!

Really solid Flex. Nice work!
Careful, I have some stripped perfetto shorts still hanging around!
Careful! Better not say that in the womens section. They will jump all over you for that! I however agree. I am all for fit women, but there is a balance where it can be taken too far. (hell....I think the same thing with men!....Never desired to look like an IFBB guy myself)
In honor of our 12th anniversary, a shout out to my husband. Instead of "soul mates" we say we are "cell mates" ... lifers. ...Btw, yes, he lifts
Congrats! At about the same point in life myself. It is nice to have someone you can happily share it with. It seems like if you can make it this far, your marriage has survived one of the hardest parts. Getting through the early years of raising kids can be a real strain for many. Many more happy years!
Your photography is beautiful as well.RAW lifts

Yeah, I agree. There must be balance. I, too, think the same thing with men. There IS a such thing as "too big." When it starts to look obviously unnatural then it's gone too far for my tastes. Don't get me wrong... I admire the dedication of folks that achieve that level. I just don't find it attractive. It's a personal preference and everybody's got them. I would like to put on more size (not as much as that chick) but there are guys at my gym that tell me I already have enough muscle and that I shouldn't try to gain more. Whatever. I think people should pursue their own goals regardless of other's opinions. As long as my husband still finds me attractive then I'll keep going. He seems to like me "thicker" so he is enjoying the bulk! LOL
And yes, the years when your kids are babies are the hardest I find. Ours are now 8 and 6 and life is much easier and more relaxed. We are closer and enjoying each other more now more than ever. I've been a photographer for about 6 years now. It's wonderful to be able to capture my children's lives as a grow.

LOL! dat dere bulk time done put a little jiggle in my wiggle for sure. I guess that's why my husband likes it. I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it. I work so hard to lean out and have that "hard body" during the summer but every time I start gaining I get told I "look better." Brb cake and cookies for the next few weeks... I'll tighten up the diet again in January. LOL

Great pics. Love the whole lady in red look. My wife is just a couple of years older than you and loves the 80s music as well. Just this year she drug us (quite willingly) to Motly Crue, Kiss, Pat Benatar, ZZ top concerts.
Here is her pic in red. Lifers as well, I could not imagine a day with out her in it.

Is it now?
So I have 3 theories why the internet turned down my video. Possibly all 3 concerting.
-Nearly failed lift, swaying bar 2" above ground
-Backlift, at least swedes cringe at this (but not at a famous Youtube-instructor doing Backlift..)
-Too light, it seems if lifting 200 kilo or more, technique doesn't matter?
(I don't think it's because poor quality, showing the actual weights, and the big innocent guy caught in the background)
Comments? Need to improve something before doing another red video.
