bump for squats - 455 x 2 paused. I should be good for 500 paused next time I max

the last couple of times I've squatted I've had dickheads decide to load or unload their bars right next to me either during my walkout or right before it. It amazes me how big a chitbag the average lifter is - I'll stand back wait for even a fat high school kid to finish his set with 90lbs before I step in next to him and load my bar

he was wearing oly shoes to squat 135 so I guess he was a hardcore lifter with no time to waste.

Hey I resemble that remark! Love my Oly shoes, hate my 1 plate squat

Seriously though, that 455x2 paused is simply unimaginable to me. It looked so clean and smooth. Crazy strong man!

Man that was impressive. You went very deep and even paused at the bottom. Congrats on the lift. You looked like you could do quite a bit more.

Man, I'm glad I lift alone, at home.

Awesome squatting. I see you suffer from the same leg and arm tremble I have while squatting.

I'll take it, pre hip surgery I was pausing low 500's so I'm getting closer to that. I'll probably never squat 600+ again but at this stage of my life it's not worth the risk anymore.

the 'twitchy' arms and legs might be due to the EC pre workout

    Thanks!

The six pack thing has always been elusive for me. I get to a certain point (about where I am now) and progress just comes to a screeching halt. I can cut calories ridiculously low and nothing changes. So far, I have dropped 1 lb per week pretty steadily since January. I'm going to keep riding this horse as long as I can.

Currently 5' 10" and 197 lbs. Daily intake is 1700 calories with one cheat meal per week.
