i was able to break a mental block on squats today, but didn't get a video. i did video my measly dead lift 375x5. i was happy about not rounding my back on this set. unless someone else sees anything i can improve on except for the weight lol.

I haven't been around the forums much lately, but want to give some props all around with a big multi-quote!
Nice pause! I'm trying to do the same thing, but due to knee issues I started over from ground zero. Literally I started doing ATG pause squats with the bar only. I'm only back up to 185 lb at this point, but I have to say that doing ATG with pause has done good things for my knees.
Those arms, those shoulders... I want some of that.
Thanks V. Crazy legs, as usual.
Awesome pic man. It's been great to see your progress and transformation these past several months. It's still funny to see you hairless, considering you started posting here as gorilla man.
Don't know when I've seen a waist that small on a guy your size. Awesome physique. As others keep saying to you.... get your ass in a physique comp!
Nice job! 11 reps is a lot for deads. My form starts breaking down after 5 or 6 reps when I get within 75% of my max.
Looking great and youthful as always. But you already knew that, right?
Awesome pic, very good physique.
I'm no expert, but the form looks pretty darn good to me. A lot better than mine! Nice work.

Man, some serious improvements in here. I don't get to post here often, but it's inspirational every time thru!

I'm on vacation in Maui and were staying at a resort on Ka'anapali Beach in West Maui. This large, black lava rock divides Ka'anapali Beach in half. Snorkeling around the rock is legendary. The rock is almost completely encrusted in coral with a large assortment of fish and sea turtles. Hawaiian legend states that the spirits of warriors left the earth to meet their ancestors by leaping from this rock so, how could I resist?
^^^^ THIS is why we don't skip legs day!"It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Hope this doesn't discourage anyone because to me, it doesn't look like a lot of weight loss, however...
Here is what 20lbs of weight loss looks like. Peak bulk at 193 to 173 today.

Awesome and inspiring progress that I've come to expect from the o35 crew. I haven't taken a pic or video since last month but now I'm motivated by all of the progress I'm seeing from this group. Keep it up everyone!

Wow...coming together really nice! Screw the scale. You look way better!
Been a long time since I have posted any pics. Tonight I snapped my first gym 'selfie'. Hoping I can do as good a job as Bodyhard!
Pics are great and everything, but I am WAY more proud of this. Everyone has their own goals, but for me strength has to go along with the physique.
Tonight a new PR for me in my quest to improve my deads.

Thanks BH! Gotta try to keep up with you!
Thanks man, I do take that as a sincere compliment. I just dont feel I am the 'bodybuilder' type. Sure, I have developed good mass, but bodybuilding is more then just being 'big'. It is all about lines and aesthetics. While I am lucky to have parents that gave me good genes for strength and mass, my frame is not the bodybuilder type.
In the end, I have tremendous respect for those that compete. The dedication and mental effort is second to none really. I dont have the desire to stand and be judged. I do that to myself every day and in the end, it is me that I have to please. I am harder on myself than any judge would ever be.
I am still finding that balance for me (between looking a certain way and pushing heavy weight). What is really cool, is I am very happy where I am which is something I could not say a few years back. Does not mean I dont push as hard as ever though
I am sure if I had local buddies that competed, it might hold more fun for me. Without friends to go though the journey with, it seems a little too focused on myself. I am finding these days I am more and more motivated to work and train with others. Given my workouts were so solitary for so long, it is a welcome change.
I dont rule out anything in the future......
Good bicep tip. My arms have not really changed size in a few years. What has happened that makes them look a lot better is leaning out. Cant say enough the positive effect that dropping a little fat will do for bringing out the shape of your muscles. The area around the elbow and insertion to the shoulder really suck in and that makes the whole belly poke out much more.RAW lifts
