That's what I was thinking for today! I've already done my 4-day split Mon-Thur, and I feel like going in for an arm workout for the first time in at least 8 months. I think my elbows are up for it now.

I had an arm day in my split for as long as I can remember. About two months agoi started working back twice a week. Now I may throw in a dedicated arm day a couple times per month on what normally would've been an off day.

Had to use the raised handles on the trap bar to prevent my knee tendinitis from shutting me down.. much better leverage.

Today I passed 1,000,000 lbs lifted since I started out (i.e. the beginning of the year give or take a couple of days)!

I'm still a flabby dude, but I was in the middle of leg day when I noticed the vascularity on my legs. It will just get better from here.

I've been pretty happy with my progress with the weights these past several weeks and feel like I'm finally dialing in on the compound lifts. Here's where I am this week:

Deadlifts, 265 lb 5x5
Squats, 215 lb 5x5 (not thrilled with that weight!)
BP, 195 lb 5x5
OHP, 95 lb 5x5 (just started these 3 weeks ago, still feeling my way around them)

Took a couple of progress pics this morning before heading off to the gym.

No worries about the weight. Looking good.

With a little biceps in the mix.

Took this today as I am down to doing progress pictures once a month now. It's been 15 months since my waist measured 52 inches around. This pic hit home on my progress for some reason. Maybe it's because there is an actual V starting to show and the pear shape is completely gone? I dunno but it feelsgoodman.jpg to see my backside looking like this in size 32 shorts!

I hadn't tried the DB's in a while. I've been doing a heavy 5x5 with the barbell. I was just curious were I stood with the DB's. Next time I'll get 10.
