Another GHR attempt. I really thought I was straighter than I turned out to be on vid. Isn't that always the way? I have definitely gotten stronger doing these. I just wanted them to look prettier than they do. On the plus side, my legs are finally starting to come in; and high time as I have only 24 days left on this challenge.
I know Oceanside just adores restroom shots. . here's mine. Excuse the sweat marks.

Steph, some great progress in your back shot and awesome changes all around!
Prath, just amazing and you should be proud!
Pharm, that's a great back shot and you look great. Good luck with your continued cut!
Outdoor, you've made some impressive changes so keep at it!
Timber, dude what more can I say, you're in a league of your own!
DD, you're legs are coming in and holy lean as fawk!
Quick update on me. I met with the specialist on Wed. He happens to be a weightlifter so he completely understands where I'm coming from. There are a few different things going on with my shoulder and I will likely need surgery in the future. He's not going to bother with the rehab route. Everything I'm doing at home is fine. He gave me a shot to help with the inflammation, told me to rest up for the remainder of the week and gave me the green light to get back to training on Monday.
Here's some time off, no lifting progress pics. I'm excited to get back in the game!

Thanks DD. I ended up upping my calories a bit. I got nervous using an aggressive deficit on top of an injury...that never works well together. I'm sitting at 127 lbs, but I'm going to lower calories next week for the final 6 weeks. There's no way I'll hit my original goal, but I can make some decent changes from here.

Indeed they are! I actually have improved a bunch on these from when I first attempted them.
Thanks! Not too shabby work there yourself!
I floundered/****ed off the first week, then stopped tracking and had several drinks last week on vacation---no gym time but daily runs and bodyweighted work. I'm happy with my progress considering. I still have 3 weeks to bring in a tighter package. There's always the last resort PSMF.Sheriff John Brown always hated me

Does that mean my form was bad???
GJ on the DL!!! Your back is looking thick!!
That most certainly is inspiring. However, at close to 150lbs I don't ever see myself pulling off a 300lb DL.
Whoa!!! Dat body!!!! Damn woman. You are ripped. You gon win dat challenge!
... and strong DD is strong! Those GHR look much harder than on the machine...
Thanks Kim! You look fantastic as always! I'm glad to hear your specialist understands your dilemma. That would be a relief to me to know he also shares the weightlifting passion and it's importance as part of your life...

lol, thanks. My old gym in FL had a GHR station. They are easier from the station as you are fighting less gravity. Also, as with all bw'd work, these got a tad easeir as i dropped a few pounds of fat. And doing from the seated calf raise machine has worked my hamstrings in a way they've never been worked before.
a 300 (or 315!) DL isn't out of the question for you. Not while you're restricting cals, of course, but with work it's absolutely doable.
The way you have transformed since your last bulk-cut cycle has inspired women all over the site.Sheriff John Brown always hated me

snapped a couple quick shots last night, sorry for the poor quality, I don't know how to pose, but thought I'd share. This is the end of 3 month bulk put on 12 lbs, waist measurements stayed the same, so did fairly well. Quick shot of traps and delts. Will try to get some shots in the sun this weekend.....monday starts the cut. I am thinking of cutting to 185/190, next bulk I don't think I'll go above 200. Well see, all depends on my lifts at the lower weights.
Unfortuantely, no before pics for comparison in this pose

LOL. She was asking, "Is that (the movement) for your legs?" She is a super-sweet person who has been teaching/leading spin, step, sculpt-and-tone classes there and surrounding gyms for years but still for some reason buys into the spot-reduction things. A few weeks ago I was on the HS iso-lateral pulldowns and she stopped by and said, "I gotta start doing those---I need to get rid of this bra fat." She does side hangs on the hyper-extension apparatus holding a quarter plate "to get rid of her muffin top."
If she ever ASKS me for advice the first thing I'd tell her is "YOU CAN'T SPOT REDUCE!" but I don't think she ever would because she has been a *cough*fitness professional*cough* a lot longer than me and has been in the biz for forever. Kinda sad. But she is a funny and kind person and throws great parties.Sheriff John Brown always hated me
