Anyone try making their own keto pasta?

I'm thinking about making alterations to a pasta recipe to try and see if I can make a tasty at home pasta, by substituting some or all of the flour with flax and almond flour:

    Ingredients:

1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
    5 eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour, plus additional flour as needed
    1 teaspoon salt

Has anyone else tried something like this? Has there been success? Did it taste good?

I haven't tried this one yet, so if you do it let me know how it turns out:

    4 eggs
1.25 DL cream cheese (not sure why they measured it in a liquid form...)
50ml fiber husk (I can't find it here, so I'm going to try bran)

Beat eggs into bowl, add cream cheese and fiber husk. Mix it all together and leave it for about 10 minutes. Spread evenly on an oven tray and put in oven at 150C for 10min. Take it out, cool it off and cut into thin slices to look like pasta. Put it into your sauce mixture and serve.

Idk about making your own keto pasta but spaghetti squash seems like a good substitute if you can spare 8 net carbs for a cup.

I hardly ever eat pasta, but when I do I eat dreamfields.

    http://www.dreamfieldsfoods.com/

I've eaten about half a box, and that did knock me out of keto. When I limit it to 1-2 servings, I generally stay in keto.

I don't have a pasta maker of any type at home, so this is what I do. Would be interested in findings of a good keto recipe though.

Italian is by far my favorite ethnic food. There is no way I would ruin something like a fantastic lasagna by trying to make it low carb. Just eat it on a carb up/cheat meal.

Honestly though, as long as you're not in induction, you can probably eat serving of pasta and not get kicked out of keto. There's something like 40 carbs in a cup of spaghetti. I've eaten more than that and stayed in ketosis.

I'm not saying it will knock you out of keto. What knocks some, won't others. people are different. etc. But if you look at the link and scroll down to the chart you will see the dreamfields is worse than a sandwich or a wrap.

Finally tried the recipe I posted earlier. The pan I poured it in was a little too small so it's a little thicker than I liked, but it went well in the beef stroganof I made. By itself it's fairly tasteless so the key I think is to let it soak in whatever you're going to cover it in first.

I use bean spouts as a sub for pasta. I just boil the bean sprouts and since its fairly tasteless, the sauce works decent with it. Idk, lol might not be for everyone.

Yes, I personally can't stand the texture but I guess you'd have try them to see for yourself as others have no problem with them.
