    quick question?

    So I read a thread about "a de-loading phase".

Question: Is that something that alot of people on here actually do and a technique I should use.
question 2: Should I start tommorow on my off day?

just so you know for question 2 I didnt really know what I was doing for the absolute longest time and still dont really know alot despite 2 years of lifting but out of those two years I have never missed a work out and also never gone more then a day not lifting (my day off, work out 6 days a week). so would doing this really help me out right now? if so how long do I go without lifting?

its okay to take a week break MAX after several tough months of training, it will help you to recover, and get mentally prepared again. whenever you come back you will feel a lot stronger than before, this is normal

You havent missed a workout in 2 years?

Typically, a deload is to allow complete body and CNS recuperation after you continually pummle them.

Some people will just straight up take a week off, and others will still workout that week, but will keep the volume and intensity very low.

Its hard to miss a workout when the gym is in walking distance and when your family never travels or leaves the house for extended amounts of time. If I keep the intensity low does that mean hardly trying to even breathing heavy during my workout or am I allowed to get a pump ? :P
