90's kid means you GREW UP in the 90's, not BORN in the 90's. If you were born in say 1993, by the time your childhood experience actually begun (when you're 5-6 years old) the 90's were already OVER.

1989 is the cutoff birthdate for 90's kids. A generally rule is if you cant remember a time BEFORE the nintendo 64 came out then you arent a true 90's kid.

If you didnt spend the majority of your childhood years (between age 5-12) in the 90's then you arent a 90's kid.

though sometimes you would catch some sand or something on the street and eat ****, getting hurt a lot when your young makes you tougher though

edit: the worst kind of bike injury that was common would occur with hand brake bikes, brb foot slips off pedal and spins backwards slamming into your shin
