well for 6months im planning a budget of £1000/$1600 a month MAX. I think most likely I wont spend over £550/$800 a month.

For work, I dont know its hard to get any sort of job in Thialand, you cant work in retail stores or banks or anything like you. Only jobs you can do is teach english in schools if you hold a degree. Or if you have a very niche skill that no other thai can do. Otherwise its illegal.

Its best to go on your own, all the info is out there on the internet, and its ALOT cheaper

You actually don't need a degree for TESL certification and the guy who runs one of the programs that does it has really good reviews. but the Cambridge certification, which is more widely accepted, does.
