What kind of body do girls like?

Since I've never ever been with a girl (19 years old) in my life (no sex, kissing, hugging or communication experience whatsoever), I recently (nearly a year ago) started working out, but what kind of body type attracts women? Should I get very big and ripped or more "natural-looking" and maybe "functional"?

I've heard girls are all about having abs, is this true?

different women are attracted to different things....I know girls who are into the Abercromie model look (skinny-ripped), the aesthetic fitness model look (Zyzz,Steve Cook,Rob Riches) and believe it or not...some women even love muscular freaks so it all boils down to the individual....

If you are 19 years old and have not hugged a girl, you have much deeper problems than not having abs. As spiderman said, lifting weights/improving body composition is not going to solve your problems.

It depends, every girl is different. Some prefer scrawny noobs like justin ***got (bieber) and some are interested in athletic shape, some are interested in body builders. OP do what you enjoy, don't do it for the girls do it for your self. Girls will be more impressed in your dedication and your achievements.

being social is the number 1 , second is being intresting , going out you notice it doesnt matter as much how you look but how your brain functions and common intrests

If you are overly fat it's gonna be more than 6 months. If you're already lean with abs bulk up. If you're skinny fat bulk up an then cut.

On a swedish forum we had a thread discussing this for thousands of pages, and it turned out that really a really muscular @SS was key, however the big issue was that nearly none of the females would comment on the bodies but instead say things like "well, that guys face looks wierd so not him" or "he looks like he's a douche", mixing up other stats with the physique, so we didn't really get anywhere

Do you mean that they get turned off by more muscular types (broad shoulders, powerful arms etc.), or only that abs and slightly muscular is enough for them?

I think it's because I don't drink alcohol, so I miss out on a lot of nights with my buddies. Except for playing video games and go out drinking (and a movie at the cinema once or twice a month), we don't usually do anything together, so there has never been a real possibility for me.

I know personality, style, money, face etc. matter more than a muscular body, the thing is that I have all those (except for money), but I've never been able to share it, because I don't hang out. Nonetheless, one can't say that a nice body does not matter, it's actually a good thing that girls can get sexually interested in you without you having said a word, or looked at them even once. It's same the other way around. Personality is very vital in a woman (among other things), but the look of one can make you go crazy sometimes.

To be honest I don't think the amount of muscle on a guy really matters much, most of the guys that get girls easy in my class are pretty skinny. the 2 strongest kids in our class ( both in terms of lifting and muscle mass) are this 1 Mexican guy and this other big Irish guy, both of them have a very hard time getting girls. lol

Actually, it does matter. Just because face, personality and ethnicity are more important, does not mean the body does not matter. Say a guy has a normal face, great personality (humorous, cool, understanding), and is clean. He would always be more attractive with a muscular body.
