My retail job isn't cutting it. I have bills, school and other stuff to pay for. I know some of you Nmisc'ers make a decent living.
Srs thread, please no "sell your body, sperm, plasma, etc" or trolling.
If possible, is there any way to make money on the Internet?
I check Craigslist every week or so looking for a part-time job opening.
I'm about to resort to buying everything on clearance at my store (some things go down to .88$ or even a penny) and selling it online. Or trying to buy and flip stuff for a profit on eBay or Craigslist or something.
K go.

The first thing you should realize is that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. If it was was easy to make $30/hour with no skills or connections, everyone would do it, it would drive down the cost of labor, and before you know it, said job would pay $10/hour.
The way I made money when I was in college was delivering pizzas and doing it a lot. Six nights a week. I used my own car. Got paid $2.50/hour plus delivery charges plus tips. Catering season was awesome. Brb $20 delivery charges and $40 tip for 45 minutes. Some nights I'd walk out of there with $250 cash. Other nights $60.
My recommendation is to just work a lot of hours. At your age and without a degree, you're going to have a hard time finding something that pays a lot of money. Are you in school now? Area of study?Few things are set in stone, except that you have to squat or you are a pussy. - Mark Rippetoe

Agree with FitCPA,
the Labor market sucks right now. I just graduated with a Masters in Economics and had to take a job that pays quite a bit less than if I graduated with the same degree taking the same job 5-6 years ago. I am over-qualified. So the guy graduating without the masters is over-qualified and under paid for his job and the guy who has yet to graduate is going to be over-qualified and under-paid for his job. So you are going to have to take a job that doesnt pay great and work more hours to make up the difference. Find something you won't hate doing and spend a lot of hours doing it.Founder of MMDELAD

Tutoring is always good. If you're willing to sink some cash to make some you can always try to buy stuff from estate sales & resell - pick something you know about and focus. Also, in my experience, easier to negotiate tougher & accept thinner margins and sell to antique shops than trying to sell on ebay.
I made a decent living for a while working the door at a bar - late nights but could always study at work if it wasn't a weekend.Clear eyes, full heart: can't lose.

I know a guy that is a student and makes money flipping workout equip on CL. Has a really nice home gym, because he sometimes has to sit on pieces for a while. He buys everything that people have when moving and need to get rid of stuff quickly, gyms closing, ettc. Only problem is you need to always have cash on hand and ready to pick up quickly.

Not sure where you live, but try looking to see if there are any College Hunks Hauling Junk, 1-800-GOT-JUNK, or Junk King franchises in your area. You basically ride around all day and pick up heavy stuff from people's houses. Actually kind of a fun job as it doubles as GPP lol. Pay probably is around $10 an hour and most people usually tip 5-10 per job and sometimes upwards of 20-30.
