Just curious who you guys thought the most genetically gifted bodybuilder was. I got my money on Flex Wheeler up until he destroyed his look trying to catch Ronnie.

Let me give you some background:
Sergio Oliva
The original freak, great shoulder girdle, think joints, full muscle bellies, tiny waist etc. His diet consisted of hotdogs, burgers and A LOT of COKE. He never dieted for competition (it shows) and he did very few exercises (only bench for chest etc.) I have some articles, thats apparently all he did without Jones. He also had a very lax training ethod prior to his work with Jones.
Paul Dillet
Execellent mass, thin waist all with very lax training.
Steeve Reeves
More aesthetic rather than big.
Note its only half the article uploaded because my internet is too slow, but the full one is on the ironage forums

Dorian Yates seemed like the most massive male bodybuilder ever. On the other hand, Berry DeMey and Bob Paris had the perfect physique. Among female bodybuilders, Cory Everson. To me, she was the best in the history of the sport, she was beautiful and very athletic, best of all, natural!

[QUOTE=Cyclops]That's largely due to muscle memory.
??? well yea, but muscle memory would have to be factored into genetics because some would simply be more genetically predispositioned to it than others. but many other pros did not have the gift of being able to get in such good shape earning them olympia finishes from second through to sixth on as little months of training as kevin. yes, it can be largerly due to muscle memory - but kevin is obviously more genetically predispositioned to a larger degree of muscle memory than many others - this must be factored into his excellent genetics as its all correlated.
