Anyway it hasn't, it is still a pejorative term used to slur gay men.

When you use it you are using an offensive word to gay people similar to how ****** offends some people of African decent or how kike offends some Jewish people.

When you call a straight male a word that denotes a gay male as some sort of an insult, implicit in this is the perpetuation of notions that straight people are superior to gay people because it so insulting to be called something that suggests you might be gay, right?

Whether you are intending to attach these connotations to your insult, I am unsure. However, these are the inferences received by many. If these inferences are inadvertent or not is irrelevant because they still offend many.

I am also putting together a major report on the use of homophobic language throughout TBB and will be sending it to BB admin accompanied with an ultimatum to the effect of if BB.com does not do something about its blatent tolerance for the use of homophobic language in TBB I will be sending a report to the United Nations Human Rights commission. I am sure BB.com does not wish any further legal issues given the recent situation with the FDA.
