I have a question about the diffrence between "Cutting" and using "Ketosis" I know how Ketosis works. You just eat the # of Protein you need that's = to your body weight you want to weight and then you cut carbs down to 25g at the most and then fast is the rest. My question is how does "Cutting" work? I know the protein is the same but, what about the fats and carbs? Is it the opposite of Ketosis and use carbs instead and lower fats way down?
That was my first question and the other question is my oats in the cabinet have 150 Cal's per 1/2 Cup and each 1/2 cup contains 2.5g of fat. Saturated fat = 0.5g, Trans = 0g, Polyunsaturated = 1g and Monounsaturated = 1g. Total Carbohydrates = 27g. Dietary Fiber = 4g, Soluble = 2g, Insoluble = 2g and Sugars = less than 1g. That being said that doesn't = 27g of Carbs where are they getting the rest of those carbs if oats are so good for you?
Please give any feed back if anyone understands any of these questions i'm currently using "Ketosis" as my cutting method and have been to lose 35lbs. I seem to be missing oats and their's a lot you can do with them that i've found out and would love to switch to cutting but, need to figure out how it works and why they're so good for you!
