I'm 20, male, 6ft, and 170lb. Been working out/dieting on and off for a few months. I've gained a little muscle but still unsure of what to do. I was around 180 and lost some weight. My goal is just to have a slim body for now, where I don't have any love handles or double chin. I've been lifting for a little while now so I'm pretty experience with the actual lifts. I'm thinking of starting the PHAT routine soon. Advice?

I would cut. Your genetics are very similar to mine in that you store fat primarily in your chest/abdomen. I think you will be much happier with a cut. You'll also notice an improvement way faster. Plus, it's summer so you don't want to get any fatter.
Cut for the rest of the summer, then clean bulk once you get down to a reasonable fat%.

stop worrying about "bulking" and "cutting"
get your training in place, and eat clean foods while getting adequate amounts of protein.
your nowhere near the point of being ready for serious bulks and cuts.Raise ya glass.. Lets toast to when we didn't have.. Hustle + Muscle = success... I did the math...

As a beginner unless you're an extreme skin and bones ectomorph or a seasoned lifter with a well developed physique or an overweight individual bulking/cutting shouldn't be your mindset.
If your body doesn't fall into any of those 3 extremes you should be focused on training consistantly and eating to meet your training and recovery needs.Spike92 is 15.
