How big can I get without looking awkward at 5'7?

current (160 lbs) long time for progress but have fluctuated workout schedule...







Granted this progress took time but I am willing to put in the effort to reach a new goal, I just don't want to look dumpy. Iam thinking a 8-10% bf at 165 would suit my frame but suggestions are welcomed

165 and 8-10% would look good for your height. You are not that far off either, probably add 10-15lb muscle and lose 5-10 lbs fat.

thanks man, the reason I ask is because a buddy told me not to get bigger because I have a smaller frame. I know its all about my opinion but makes me think

Hmm...is there really a "too big"? Maybe there is ... but I think you're good for now and can continue on gaining some lean mass and dropping b/f.

As long as your proportional there is no such thing as too big. People who say that are just jealous.

I'm probably in the minority by thinking there is such thing as "too big". However, I don't think you're anywhere near that. You have made great progress so far and I think your frame can definitely stand to handle more mass at this time.

If I were you, I'd probably just cut then try and keep gaining strength—with minimal size. I'd be happy at the size you're at.

There is really never "too Big" OP. As long as you are satisfied with how you look then its cool. Just look at the mirror if you want to add more lean muscle or reduce body fat.
