Fill in the space under custom user text, it'll have a small note saying 'current user text is ..." or something to that effect. Then just change it to whatever.

I don't know, I didn't find out til two days ago and I was well over senior member status then. As a mod you sort of lose track of posts. Could be one post one day and 50 the next depending on the subjects.
Besides, you are only like three posts away from becoming a member.

OK I think I figured it out - I went to the help page and selected to change my status - it says you can only do this if the admin has allowed it.
Kutulus's and Beasts profiles were set up back in september but most peoples (like mine) were done in October so the changing of status has been disallowed since Beast and Kutulus joined which is why they and mods are the only ones who have the ability to change their custom text status.

You can't use avatars yet, they are still working on the server, once they can handle it, you'll be able to use avatars.
