Today was overhead squats again!! I think they are trying to kill us.

    Work up to Max again...

Tried 135 made right above parallel so it didn't help good thing I had a spot or I would have jerked it on my head.
    Overhead squat
    65x3
    85x2
    105x1
    115x1
    125x1
    135x1 above parallel
    130x1
125x0 really is a one rep max lol got some bar knurling marks on my neck.

80% Max x3 with 3 sec pause in hole/ 35 lb kettle bell swings as many rounds as possible in 7 min

    105x3 with pause / 35lb kbsx 25 =5 rounds.

Yup it didn't count max is still 130. It doesn't really bother my shoulders. They say to put the inside of your elbows facing the ceiling for the best position for your shoulders. The jerking however does... That's my issue actually I can squat more but I can't jerk anymore. 135 I was shaking like a leaf.

I know I didn't get it. I opted for a spotter and not a camera man, glad I did. I gotta figure out how I'm going to get my vids with no propping devices and without looking like a weirdo asking to be videod all the time.

Got to 'class' late and they had already begun maxing out bench.

Went 95x3 up 10 lb increments until I reached 135 and did 3 singles haven't benched in a while!! Could've done more but no spot so I got set up for the workout.

65 lb thrusters (squat with an overhead press in one motion)x 15

    Chest to bar pull-upsx15

    Most rounds in 4 min

2 lol... Which is 60 reps you had to get 90 to go onto the next 'level' and keep going. This is going to take awhile. Ha.

I was curious if anyone would NOT make it out of the first 4 minutes. 13.5 seems simple enough, but nothing is ever simple in the crossfit games. I hate thrusters enough that I would never want to do that workout. Albeit, right now, I would take those over hanging off a bar in any position. (f-ing chesticle pull. lol).

    Keep up the aweseomesauce.

13.5 was SICK. the announcers kept saying they've never seen anything like this. If they died and went to hell, this would be the workout they'd have to do.

yes.. but its said the hardest part of fran are those middle 15 reps, so the crossfit community felt it was so hellish because it was he 15 rep scheme the whole time and .. usually any workout is for time or for a certain amount of reps.. but this had the potential to go on INDEFINITELY. i loved it.

I see, I did not love it.

I guess a strength cycle is in our midst. They had us max out close grip bench <-- akward and deadlift. I stayed conventional and got 280 I am really proud of this PR since my previous conventional PR was 245 and 275 for sumo.

    Insert Ridiculously long warm up

CLOSE GRIP BENCH 1st attempt at max hands inside the knurling.
    65x3
    115x3
    135x2
    145x1
    155x1
    165x0

    Deadlift
    135x5
    185x3
    235x1
    285x1 PR

    Yes that is me yelling.
