Wednesday and Thursday July 30th /31st
Tuesday--
50 cal row
50 double unders
40 box jumps
40 wall balls 20 lb
30 knee raises
30 squats
20 jumping pull ups
20 knee pushups
10 burpees
scaled workout for this weekend lol--- 13:40 all cardio
subd in RX movements following just in case I have to do that one...
30 toes 2 bar
30 pistols
20 chest 2 bar pullups
20 hspu
10 mups --- not even one
Snatch in the Pm
95 a ton
115 okay
125 some misses
130 not even once....
P1ssed to say the least nothing is clicking. Started from the hang and felt better I think I'm sub consciously bringing the bar out forward to not hit my shin which is inflamed and probably infected and semi- hurts to bear weight or jump down on it.
Wednesday
Snatching some more because I'm glutton for pusnishment
Have no idea whats going on it's broken every thing is inconsistent. Definitely got some rookie sh!t going on but I finally hit 130 so I moved on.
Ignore the growl lol...
EMOM that turned into at EMOM 1/2 for 10 min
50 double unders up by 10 each round
10 chest to bars *** great these suck azz too.
So I signed up to do this comp last min coming back from the games. I originally planned on not doing it because I wasn't sure how my state would be upon returning. Well I should have stuck with that plan. Good news kinda if there is any that there were no RX spots left so I signed up scaled but am in the RX waitlist if IF a spot opens I'll get moved to that division. If not scaled it is. (kinda hoping)
Apparently I left all my skills in Cali my snatch is embarrassing and almost all movements c2b pullups mups etc feel foreign. I hope I get my mojo back soon. Not to mention my shin is really bothering me who knew such a small injury could be such a pain in the butt. The redness is wrapping around my leg now and I have a fluid pocket behind the gash so I think there is something going on. I'll have nurse bro look at it when he gets home.
BLAH just blah.
Oh another interesting fact I've dropped weight like crazy going on vacation that NEVER happens to me!!!!! Weighed in at 140 when I got back of bloatiness. Weighed in at 138 this morning it is im freaking possible for my body to ever drop below 140. Am I dying? Are all my muscles falling off...
I won't know which division I'm in until last minute so... hope for the best whatever that is. It's sort of a team one too because the box with the most placed athletes gets the traveling trophy and moolah so that's how I got roped in.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you are not staying over the bar long enough. Keep those hips back and your shoulders over the bar as long as possible. Also, the 125 the slight hop forward. I do that. Coach tells me it is from not fully extending.
I hope the shin gets better. Get it checked out. Cause it sounds like it HURTS!!!Spoon Barbell Club

Well got 2nd had to do scaled. Don't wanna talk about it lol...
Then because our coach is cruel.
Today
Day 1 after comp
wu 125x5 175x10
Back Squat
215x10 3 rounds
5 RFT
500M ROW
50 air squats
20 toes 2 bar
It's the never ending story.
Our box is putting on another fackin competition. Will probably expect me to compete because it's a lifting comp. So I'll probably be switching gears which is good because I'm getting a tad burnt out. It's a vehicle push/ pull event on Friday. And drum roll....
squat dl strict press max out on Saturday with the top 10 advancing to a mystery workout at the end.
Gotta learn how to sumo and low bar again At least it's something I 'like' to do.
Any suggestions on ramping up? I was gonna run a mach 5/3/1 since I only have 4 weeks.Squat 275 Bench 175 Deadlift 285 Snatch 140 Clean & Jerk 185

I would say 5/3/1 or just a progressive get heavier concept. Add 5-10# per week. Start low and work up. You got it though!

OMG guys! Hi much love felt. So it's been an artic tundra here in West Texas and I'm going crazy. ALmost everything has been closed since dec 31. There were 109 wrecks in Midland alone the 1st 8 hours of our ice storm. HAHA! Luckily I drive a Subie and have been slide free plus I'm not an idiot.
I think we are going to get one more round tonight then we should be good for the rest of the weekend. Picture of said ice storm aftermath today. Everything has been melting this afternoon but it is supposed to refreeze and sleet again tonight.
I worked out in my garage since our gym is still closed and has been for four days!!
Warm Up 10 min
FRONT SQUATS work up to heavy triple
135x5
155x3
175x3*
185x3*
200x2 dump*
ignore my dog he thinks I'm going to get taken by the weights or something.
EMOM (ever min on the min) rotate
2 high hang cleans /20 double unders
2 hang power snatch/ 20 dus
2 full cleans/ 20 dus
95, 115* I only showed one round of du's for those that didn't know what they are because nobody needs to see that.
It was supposed to be 3 rounds 95/ 105/ 115 but I went to 125. rest 2 min in between changing weights. My pup waited with me at the car I use that for my timer since I'm fancy.
I don't really like working out at the home gym for barbell work because we have a 28 mm bar as opposed to the normal 25 for girls so it's added grip work but it throws my lifts off when it gets heavy and I have a harder time catching the hook grip on the rebound because I'm normally spoiled.
8 SLDL/ 5 strict muscle up transitions. (penalty for non completion)
80lb kettle bell I can't do full muscle ups because my ceiling in my garage is not tall enough still debating putting rings in my grand room
So I just work on transitions with little lower body help as possible so basically make dead legs and don't let them move to help you. My weakness in the mup is actually getting in a good position for the pull not the dip. So I concentrate more on that.
I made it through 5 rounds. Dwindling down to 3 mup transitions and 16 sldls.
That's it! I'm saving myself for some globo tomorrow. I'm gonna do laundry put up Christmas stuff Blah Blah. Hope yall have a great weekend.Squat 275 Bench 175 Deadlift 285 Snatch 140 Clean & Jerk 185
