Strong pull boom. I'm new to sumo pulls, but here are a few things I noticed from what I've learned lately. First, you want to drop your hips more downward and not back so far. The other thing is to get your shoulders behind the bar. You have your shoulders in front of the bar, so when you break it off the floor, you see the bar move forward away from your legs, putting more of the stress on your back. If you can get your hips closer to the bar and your shoulders back, your torso will be more upright, and you won't be trying to lift all the weight with your back. My internet is acting screwy, but if you search youtube for Dave Tate deadlift, you'll find some good videos.

Good point. One of the pointers in that is Dave said that you should try and drop your nutts directly over the bar and that it should be hard to actually see the bar in that position. Now obviously that doesn't apply to Boomz, but another way of explaining getting your hips closer.

You look great in your pre-party pics. Hot dress, GORGEOUS shoes. I like to do party-dress workouts too, lol. I'll probably be doing chins/pullups at home tonight before we go to our party.

Nice back workout too. I've never tried sumo DL. I'm thinking of trying it.

you should I prefer them much more over conventional even though dickhead bro says it is not an athletic move. Blah looks pretty athletic to me!

Yall I definitely have the fluff going on. All of these extras at work and I can't just say no! Ugh I think it is much easier to have motivation when you are fatty pants but then that breeds back in to the yoyo mentality. Get where you wanna be loosen the reigns eat more get fatter get strict get back. Plus cardio is non existent and workouts have been spacy this week due to the extra chillins.

Whatevs legs today and my back is still a little sore and my knee is bugging me. My NEVER hurts. It's on the inside part like where your inner sweep would attatch. hmmm gonna watch it and see what happens ready to kill some shiz today!

Dam those hammies are poppin on that hack squat! Nice work all around Boomz. No pics from party?

They did some stupid azz rearranging of our weight area (basically got rid of actual weights in favor of some dumb stuff) and got rid of the thing that mostly resembled the hack squat (ours didn't have pads at top...I think it was called a hack press)

Helluva lot of weigh on that hack slide boomz. I'd drop it a bit and get lower, though.

Used to love bottoming out that hack slide machine, but my new gym doesn't have one.

Good job on the front squats too.

It was fun think I found the woman I would turn lesbo for she was ahmazing! The owners wife but definitely every piece of her was bought and paid for.

I only use the hack squat when my lower back needs more support.

I'm jelly of that hack squat machine. Did your gym get new stuff? My Y got a new director and she is looking at new equipment. I made a document that has pictures of what to get and a brief explanation why the equipment is beneficial.
