Still wonder why she's in the middle of bum fuk egypt, but hey guess I'll chat away. If anything she'll help me with my lifts!Last edited by Boomer29; 09-20-2012 at 07:46 AM.

I dunno?! I don't think I'm aesthically pleasing enough for figure. Would not do bb sorry they are awesome but lose femininity. Don't want to be that big. Powerlifting I think would be the most enjoyable for me but then again in order to be competitive I would have to put my aestetics to the side. (not willing to do)
I'd just like to train with her on main lifts bench, deadlift, squat, ohp for fun lol... I'm sure she will have other plans but once again awesome but I don't want to look like that. (only if I were a dude then hell yea)
That's why I'm curious what she had in mind. clueless.Squat 275 Bench 175 Deadlift 285 Snatch 140 Clean & Jerk 185

Yall are too sweet, thank you so much, but you are forgetting that my belly, legs, boobs look like a striped tiger and that skin is not the tauntest. Not really something I wanna flaunt with some of the pics I've seen of comp girls. Maybe if I went to show (which is what I would do first if I'm considering it) it might change my perspective. Looks good in pictures IRL wtf happened to her? hehe that's why I've canceled that out. Miss Anita hasn't see what's under the tank top. lol I just don't think I'm ready for all that would need years. I'm barely trying to get all this fat off from being a fatto.
Will share for sure. This is still all fun and new for me, I'm not really looking for what's next sorta deal. I guess no one does though it just happens? Don't want to turn the healthy thing I enjoy to competitive thing I hate.Last edited by Boomer29; 09-20-2012 at 09:55 AM.

from what i've seen, you have good genetics for physique shows.
you could dip your toes in figure, or perhaps physique, or FBB. natural FBBs look very different from the pros
you do need a quite specific mindset to want to prepare for and handle competition(s) though. finding a non-retarded coach would be an added bonus as well."The human race is still largely a group of monkeys with slightly better grooming habits. Give them a microscope and and they'll examine their own ****, give them a telescope and they'll go looking for tits."

Thanks guys we will see if I casually bump into her office today she's intimidating. I'm such a chicken. I would take good notes for you geek. I just hate to pay for training when there are so many resources out there. Plus I don't like people telling me what to do :P. Then have to see said person whem I'm not doing it their way. She could totally beat me up. This is a lil different though right? Whatev I'll let yall know how it goes.

i think i get you. if you dont want to learn technique for powerlifting and getting all white lights there, or body building competitions, etc. i would use someone like that for form check ups or training for a specific purpose like that.
i think i would be a terrible client for general fitness though. they tell me to do lunges when i dont wanna do lunges and i end up giving them the stink eye throughout the session. ha. yeah. wouldnt work so well.

QUICK ALT CURLS FOR ANITA
15SX30 LOL!
ANITA TIME So I caught her on her way out and opened with so how in the world did you end up in Odessa? (:facepalm She said long story it's temporary. Naturally got into the lifting talk. She asked what my background was I said dance and softball only been lifting (compounds, free weights since end of march). She said if that's your background (like that's not enough) superior genetics which kinda makes me mad because I feel like I put a lot of hard work into getting these muscles when I was younger. I don't think people understand what kinda az and legs you can build from dance and gymnastics. She said her husband who works there also (strength coach) noticed me first. Described as short stocky broad girl with brownish blonde hair (thanks?!) She didn't know what I wanted to do or how far I would want to get into it. I said I would get more satisfaction out of powerlifting but wouldn't sacrifice my aesthetics. She said that's why she competed bench only because the other two would widen waist and affect her bb competing. hmmm interesting. She said that if I were looking to compete the lowest I could go was physique but most likely would compete in bodybuilding (saying all of this while looking at the bis.) No chance at figure. WTF How do you not offend this lady by saying you don't wanna get that big? But I said it :facepalm again: I wouldn't want to get that big, she smirked and said you already are. My heads about to pop off. She done rubix cubed the fuk outta me. Might I add that she was wearing spandex pants and a tight shirt today instead of long short and ovesized polo. Guise I think she is littler than me in the waist for sure, her back and arms make her look ginormous in normal clothes. I wanted to whip out the measuring tape. (restrained) I need to ninja pic her but I'm sure that's breaking some kinda code. So I'm off to do some off season female bodybuilding/physique googling and comparing of course. I'm starting to think I have no fuking idea what I look like IRL. We left it at I have more time mon wed fri I'm training another girl late or you can email me and we can meet up outside the gym and chat more. I'm obviously gonna do the later pick her brain some more and probably buy a couple sessions just for form on the three major lifts.(haven't told her that) See what my bench would have to be to get competitive? Then make a decision. This definitely puts the boobs on hold.

Lets see, for me to compete in bb/figure, Id have to drop 25-30 lbs....umm no thanks byebye. I was told this by one of the IFFB judges.
Figure women are really tiny. They look bigger on stage. (natural ones)
Im with M on the natural bb women looking 'feminine' still. They look skinny off stage. One female competitor in natural bbing was 5'7" and 113# <--tiny, no?
I hope her advice is solid. Im kinda bias on the whole competition thing...I think it really can mess with your relationship with food and body image. But those are just my thoughts based off of sever years of experience in this.
Powerlifting is at least something you do with your body, instead of having it looked at like a piece of meat (never know what they are really after), and theres no question if you made the lift or not.
You have a great physique. You really do. I think you could compete in any venue you chose. It would be a matter of dieting down for that image you were after, because you have the right porportions...... not being too tall is in your favor too. You look taller and bigger on stage
Just my babble, dont take it too deeply. Ive just had some really bad trainers in my day, and know that just because they are pros, dont mean they make 'good' trainers."Choice is ours whether
we become victim or victor!!"
"You know, when you get old, in life, things get taken from you. I mean, that's... that's... that's a part of life. But, you only learn that when you start losin' stuff. You find out life's this game of inches...."
