Thanks for all your comments. I did go see a 'coach' the only one we have in our area and she doesn't allow crossfit.
I'm just going to reevaluate eat put on some muscle and see where I land February then make a decision. I don't think I want to get big enough for physique (just thinking of the offseason look) I'm still secretly hoping hubs will hop on the baby train. Since to me that is more important than competing. We will see don't know what his deal is maybe he doesn't want me to get fat again??

Ha but he plays so well on his own. I think so too not really worried about it. I can get it to happen one way or another but that's not really preferred. I would like him to get his stubborn az on board. I think its that he thinks hes too old (37?!) which I think is crazy. That and he has grown accustomed to us just getting up and going on vacation somewhere every 3rd week or so wouldn't be able to do that. But really? going to Vegas once a month gets old and end the end those are fun times but don't define my life. Guys don't really talk about their 'feelings' at least mine doesn't and neither do I except on an internet forum where no one knows me lol... I just think it's a big commitment me telling him this on my part and then him being so anti pisses me off. I know I'll catch him slippin one of these days. OOPS surprise we are pregnant haha. (<--- jk im really not that evil mean deceptive I don't think :P)

if it wasn't for competing, would you ever consider going back to traditional bb-ing & lifting routines again? Do you think you couldve gotten same results doing paleo + bbing routines ?

Nope and no.
I have gone back to the Y several times since I still have a membership there and it just doesn't do it for me anymore. Sure there are machines I wish I had. Reqlly only the smith way front narrow squats and leg presses. Of course the booty blaster one. But that's it.
I also don't think I would have gotten the same results paleo bbing. The intensity of training is just way different. There is something about working in a group or being watched/timed that brings the training/heart rate to a whole bother level.
The only thing I can compare it to is PRs when you first hit the 135 squat and then hit the 225 that you didn't think you were capable of. sure you may go back to the 135, but it's not nearly as exiting or challenging.
But that's me. I already had quite a bit if muscle and fat so it was perfect weight training at higher intensity. Do I think it would be best for everyone? Definitely not.
Especially those with not a lot of muscle. Everything that you would be trying to gain would be eaten up with the intensity of training.Squat 275 Bench 175 Deadlift 285 Snatch 140 Clean & Jerk 185
