I will make this short and sweet. (Somehow, my post got lost before it got submitted so, I don't want to write everything again.)
I am pms'ing. I am bloated, gassy, cramping, back hurting, craving for crunchy, cheesy, spicy, salty and sweet. In fact, I have been eating out of control about 10 days now and I am desperate to have my period. I feel tortured. Usually, I am not craving food right after I start my period for 3-5 days. That's the time I get my scale wt down and get motivated. But it seems that I have no control a week before it starts.
What do you do stop being like this? Is there any medication or supplements? I am just mad at myself ruining my hard work(ST x3/wk and cardio 5days/ wk) trying to lose fat and don't see any progress. How do you handle your craving related to PMS?

If I've been eating clean on/around that time of the month, I find the cravings are less. If I've been cheating a lot, the cravings just compound the eating problem. I've found the phrase, "I can have that, just later" helps me to not outright DENY myself what I'm craving, but at the same time, not to give in right that second, and more often than not I find a way to distract myself and not go back to the cheat item.
Or have lots of s#x so you'll be too busy and happy to eat.You get out of life what you put into it. -R.J.Sr.

I feel your pain. It's that time of the month for me and I'm STARVING. I'm on a cut as well and I literally just said fuk it today and ate like an extra 300 calories. My stomach was growling and I was feeling hunger pains. You do burn more calories around and on your period due to extra cellular activity so it's okay to up your cals.
I usually buy 70% chocolate, fruit and pickles. And try to drink a lot of water to feel at least a little full. And then I pop a painkiller and head to the gym for cardio.
Only way I stay sane every monthWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time.

I mostly just keep myself busy. Say "later, i have to do this and that before" and usually i just end up losing the appetite for it. Or just eat one small piece of dark chocolate. Also I buy only certain amount of food at home during that time (no snacks or sweets expect the dark chocolate because i cant eat that more than one small piece at the time) and also say "later" if i feel the need to go to a shop. Easiest way to resist is not to have it at my sight at home.

Thanks for replies.
I guess I have too much time in my hand just thinking about food. I couldn't sleep last night from cramping and lower back pain. I need to take a nap today for sure. Meanwhile, I will try to keep myself busy today or hide somewhere ;-)2018 Oct/Nov/Dec Fat Loss and Motivation

This... hehe.
Are you drinking enough water? I find it is harder to resist cravings on days when I haven't been drinking enough water... feel a little more hungry.
Sounds like you also should try to work on your determination. I get a rush when I drive past McDonald's even though I've been thinking about eating a fillet of fish all day. Just say no! ;-)

Just got back from dental appt. While talking about my teeth, the dental hygienist mentioned that crunchy food craving is related anemia. (BTW, hard food is not good for teeth.) I thought it was just my pms symptom. I've been running a lot lately and that explains I might be anemic. Time to see medical Dr.
