That sucks about Real Ale. Cheaping out on coffee. BTW, y'all will be getting Firestone-Walker beers real soon in Austin.
There are several new brewery's open in Houston. No Label, Cycle Brewing, Buffalo Bayou and maybe another 2 or 3. Also, a couple of new beer bars opening up as well. There will be one in my neck of the woods that will offer growler fills. 1st in the area. PHUCK YEAH!
Texas will be getting Racer X on keg only this year and bottles starting next year!
I believe he was talking about SE Tx ya momo.Official Supp. Misc Beer Crew

LETS DO THIS
Huge let down due to its hype. It's like Ruination with more pine and less malt. Again, another Alesmith beer that's short on malt, IMO. Aroma is fantastic, but the flavor is very watered down like the Alesmith X. Sorry, but Hop Stoopid is much better than this and cheaper where I am.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

Saturday night is our Halloween party. It's supposed to be something like 38* that night, so I intend on drinking it there when sober. If it sucks, man, Alesmith gon git the ban hammer. Both X and IPA are far watered-down tasting for me to approve. Very disappoint.
There are no good seasonals out besides pumpkin beers, like Pumking or Pumpkinhead. Check out maybe something from Ommegang if you've never tried them, or Brooklyn 1 trashed my ass one night, though I had accidentally aged it for something like 2-3 years; idk how it is fresh.
Or just go with old faithful, ST PumkingOfficial Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

I just had some Founders Dirty Bastard for the first time...
Delicious. Complex, stronger than I'm used to (big wimp), but not offensive at all. I will probably get a four-pack of this over the holiday. However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results - Dr. John Berardi

Kasteel ROUGE, not Rogue. It has a permanent tap at the bar I frequent a lot due to all the girls and ****s that go there. And ya, there are a lot of ****s and queers that want a beer that doesn't taste like a beer.

While your posts are certainly rep-worthy, my specific rep in regards to your location was meant for TopSecret. While I love my Devil's Backbone, think Starr Hill is alright, and even occasionally like that I can get DuClaw, I still hate every day knowing how much better the selection is for West Coasters.
So, I am just moments away from giving DayTime, the only --- ONLY --- Lag beer I generally dislike a 50th chance. And, on suggestion, its being consumed from the bottle.
Will report.
Just discovered that the excellent Breakfast Stout by Founders is best at just under room temperature. So amazingly tasty.Run. Rave. Repeat.
