I guess it depends on my mood, time of year, am I sipping, slamming, partying, or for garage work? And can bombers fit in this 6er?
If so, I mean ANY 6 beers, it would be as follows:
Sculpin
Nelson
MBC Screamin Pumpkin (a man can dream, right?)
Dark Lord
CBS
and either Heady Topper or Abrasive

I have said it before it ruined fall beers for me...I dont want anything to do with anything that might even have a similar taste profile. Taste like a smushed burnt popcorn flavored jelly belly.
I will stick to porters/stouts/belgians and of course IPA/IIPA this fall.My Log:

Give it time bro, I used to think Belgians were weird; but now all I drink is Belgians and IPAs lmao(for the most part). You need to give Belgian IPAs a try for real though. Stuff like Chouffee Houblon and Poperings Hommel Bier. Go on BA and see if you can find any Belgian IPAs made in Belgium(skip any US versions for now) You may be surprised. A lot of them are very spicy, peppery, floral. Quite similar to IPAs in a way so you may like em.
Good to see you finally came out of your corner . I have been taking the other side of the coin this year, and I am trying out as many Oktoberfest/Marzens I can find(I have about 12 different ones atm). I do have a few pumpkin ales in the lineup though.[IIFYM]

Trippels and quads are alot different flavor profile than you conventional beers. At first that weird belguimy taste turned me off (i was really into ipa/dipas). Now ive really grown to love em. They are right up in there with my top with IPA's.
Now im workign on Pilsners. That taste always threw me off. But this weekend i had a great hoopy double Pilsner and it was excellent. I will defintly be exploring pilsners more now.

My Founders Breakfast Stout review:
This is the beer that everyone is talking about...
Founders Brewing Breakfast Stout, 8.3% ABV
...And the hype is certainly justified.
Founders Breakfast Stout is a big, bold beer. Yet, not overwhelming.
By nearly every measurement, this is beer done right. It pours dark, with a thin brown head.
The aroma is of pure, sweet malts. From first glance and that initial smell, one is prepared for the treat that awaits.
The Breakfast Stout delivers like a dessert, but manages to refrain from being excessively sweet. The flavor of java is strong, but complimented well by notes of caramel.
The back end delivers just a bit of bite, finishing similarly to a Coca Cola (albeit the best darn Coke I've ever had!)
The texture is thick, but not oily. Again, Founders has measured this perfectly, managing to be robust, yet remarkably tempered.
A pleasant and light syrupy aftertaste lingers.
Through and through, every thing about Founders Breakfast Stout is solid.
It's notably memorable. This is a beer that I frequently crave. When I choose a variety of beers, the Breakfast Stout is one of the few of which I select multiple bottles.
I rarely present five-star ratings. However, Founders Breakfast Stout certainly deserves it.
So it shall receive: 5 stars, and the highest recommendation!

This sucks. Yesterday, I took my blog to the next level (I thought), and got a custom domain name. Almost simultaneously, GoDaddy exploded, and ever since, my server has an issue with custon domain mapping... although, apparently unrelated to the GoDaddy problem.
Frustrating.
Meanwhile, I am drinking 471 Small Bacth Imperial IPA by Breckenridge. 9.2%ABV. Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, and Fuggles hops. Here is how I describe it on untappd:
Strong citrus scent. Hops overload provides a thick mouthfeel but surprisingly thin spice. More citrus on the backend. Good, not great.
3 of 5 stars. Would drink again. CheersRun. Rave. Repeat.

No pics, but I had Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat along with their Oktoberfest on draft tonight. I am on a quick trip to Kansas City for a conference so I figured I'd stick to a local brewert with a solid reputation and I was not disappointed; both were very tasty, especially the Wheat.

All of the hop harvest should be showing up in the next few weeks. I should be getting a pound of Centennial, Amarillo, and probably cascade. Already missed out on Nelson lol. Ill be getting my water report in my email from Ward Labs tomorrow so I am going to make some water for the White IPA I plan to brew saturday(I count on it being at LEAST 75% RO water, my water is a fircking mineral field in a glass). Bottling the Belgian Pale ale on Friday night to free up the fermenter.
