    Smile My Transformation (19yo) (145lbs - 182lbs) (2009-2012) (New User)

    Hey BB,

Here's my 3.25 year transformation. In the before pic I weighed ~145lbs, in the after pic I weighed ~182lbs. I've seen plenty of transformation pictures that are significantly more impressive than mine, especially for a 3 year time period... but I'm still proud of what I have accomplished so far. I'm barely 19 so this is still the beginning!

Thank you! My current goals are to bring the circumference of my arms up by ~2 inches, get my obliques and abs shredded, and build up my legs overall. They aren't pictured here, but I was run over by an 18wheeler around 2 years ago (the wheels went over my legs), so I've only recently been able to try to bring them up to par.

Thanks for the kind words man, growing and getting more ripped is the permanent plan.

Thanks man. My diet was complete crap until about 2 months ago. I ate whatever I wanted, when I wanted... I'm gonna guess an average of 60% carbs, 25% protein, and 15% fat. Mostly processed foods. I went on a strict diet 1 month ago after 1 month of transition:

    6 days every week:
1st Meal - Protein Shake, Handful of Almonds
2nd Meal - Protein Shake, Apple
3rd Meal - Protein Shake, Handful of Almonds, Small Portion Meat (0.5lbs)
4th Meal - Protein Shake, Salad
    5th Meal - Small Portion Meat (0.5lbs)
6th Meal - Protein Shake, Large Portion Meat (1.0lbs), Spoon of Organic Peanut Butter
*Protein Shake is a blend of Sports Nutrition Egg White Powder and Ultimate Nutrition Prostar Whey Protein (35g protein, 2g carbs, 1g fat, 0g sugar).

    1 day every week:
I try to consume as many carbs as possible. Typically a 1lb(dry) of whole-wheat pasta, half a jar of pasta sauce, parmesean cheese, 10 breadsticks, some protein bars, etc.

Attached is a pic of me 3 months ago. I was at about 195lbs then, now 181lbs.

The reason I have all the protein shakes is because there's not much else I can fill myself with that has no carbs, other than meat (which I already eat 2lbs of every day). It's also partially a food budget issue.

You SHOULD be proud bro...you've done a real nice job building a lean athletic physique. Sometimes we are our own worse critics and don't see ourselves as others do. Great work for 19!

Thanks buddy. Not to say that what I did is the best way to get a good body... there is probably something that will work better for you. For the most part I would work out two muscle groups per day, 5 or 6 days per week, and spread the muscles out as far as possible so that I wouldn't over-train them. I went to a crappy gym (planet fitness, never go there, it sucks) until Fall 2011 when I started going to the gym at my University. I never had a personal trainer, but when I saw big guys or people that I wanted to look like in the gym I always asked for exercises/advice. I also looked at youtube workout videos like crazy, and I still do. I'd say that 80% of my physics class consists of me looking up fitness stuff on the internet.. lol

Never used anything off of that channel, they were honestly just random vids that I got when I was searching different exercises. Go to exrx.net and you can get a huge list of exercises categorized by muscle groups.
