    Turkish Get Up For Wrestling

I have been doing lots of research about body weight exercises for my wrestling workout plan. I keep coming across the Turkish Get Up. I am wondering What The Heck IT IS.

It's an old school strongman/circus thingie, and also a great torso exercise requiring strength and control in awkward positions. It certainly could be useful for wrestling. Most people use DBs, KBs, and BBs for it.

Or chix ... (which might better demonstrate why you're seeing it mentioned in wrestling literature)
