Yeah I hear you but I think it's rarely consistent week to week, it seems people can go a couple of weeks with no change and then all of a sudden two pounds is gone. Have you been using yohimbine or not since it won't ship to Canada?

Not using yohimbine as its banned in Canada. I was going to use Elite Oxy Pro as I had heard good things about that until I realized it contains 1 3 dimethylamylamine which is banned by WADA and I believe just recently banned in the U.S. Going to be using a product called M-Power by Rivalus which is marketed as 100% guaranteed not to contain anything banned by WADA and is aimed at Olymipic athletes.
Thanks! I have been drinking 1 gallon a day but did up my water intake to see if that would help.Last edited by Vanguard1965; 07-20-2012 at 06:20 PM.

Tried occlusion training tonight on leg extentions. Crazy stuff and I think you are to do this as the last exercise. I did it mid workout and really struggled to finish after. Totally drained of energy tonight but content."We all have great inner power. The power is self-faith. There's really an attitude to winning. You have to see yourself winning before you win. Yeah me neither it's just a common supplement recommendation so I was curious if people in Canada find a way to use it or not. I'm not using any products with caffeine currently and it may slow my fat loss a little bit, however I tend to be stimulant sensitive and have an irregular heartbeat at times so that's not an option for me as it worsens. M-power seems to have pretty good user reviews.

This morning I am happy to report I weighed in at 204.6 lbs which is down 2 lbs from last Saturday! This is really good news and has me back on track. I still have a long way to go but am slowly getting there. Appreciate all the support and encouragement I have received over the past few weeks, it’s helped a lot!

Workout - Legs Hypertrophy
Did occlusion training again this week. This time I did leg extentions at the end of my workout and that is definately the way to do it. I did it half way through my workout last time and it really made it hard to keep going after. I would love to try this with my calves but it might be a bit to much to do both in the same workout using occlusion? I guess I could alternate workouts."We all have great inner power. The power is self-faith. There's really an attitude to winning. You have to see yourself winning before you win. And you have to be hungry. You have to conquer."

I hit 2 BFR leg curl & 2 BFR leg extension sets to finish my hypertrophy days now. I think there's a recent article w/ Jeremy Leonneke talking about working up to ~4+ sets. So I wouldn't think throwing BFR calves in after extensions wouldn't hurt, as long as you get some rest between.

Thanks Adam. Also great idea to include leg curls. Do you keep the straps on and moved from extentions to curls or take them off in between?

Just read through your log and I'm definitely in for this! Wasn't sure what you meant in one of your previous posts where you stated you can't log your workouts where because you are working with Layne? You guys have some sort of secret handshake that prevents you from divulging the details?
Anyway, great work so far and I'll be rooting for you the rest of the way!!

Thanks! Hopefully they don't bore you to death! LOL
If you pay Layne to create your training routine then its his intellectual property and he asks that you not post it online. Most guys just get Layne to do their nutrition so they are free to post up their workout no problem, like Adam and Paul are doing.
Thanks for your support demonware!
Cool thanks! I just want to make sure I do this correctly. One last question. If leg extentions are part of your regular workout do you still do them and then added in the BFR sets at the end or skip the leg extentions and do them at the end?Last edited by Vanguard1965; 07-29-2012 at 03:24 PM.

Macros - Protein: 285g, Carbs: 185g, Fats: 62g
Workout - Power Leg Day
Great leg workout! Set new PR for squats tonight. I had done 315 lbs x 3 last workout and was hoping to do 4 this time around. Suprised myself and was able to actually get 5 reps! Tried for a second set at that weight and got one and new I was done. After such and all out effort on the squat I found myself struggling for energy to complete the rest of my workout but I ground that **** out. Totally spent tonight."We all have great inner power. Solid leg workout today. Did occluded leg extentions at the end 90 lbs x 30 x15 x15 x15 x15
If you have ever seen Matthew Ogus video's, at the end he has where he does a deadlifts and then yells out muther f#$%$%!! which makes me laugh every time I see it and does a great job of describing how I feel at the end of doing the leg extentions!
After a couple days of really struggling for energy especially during my workouts today was much better."We all have great inner power. The power is self-faith. There's really an attitude to winning. You have to see yourself winning before you win. And you have to be hungry. You have to conquer."

Vlog--you are prepping, not cutting. Cutting is what civilians do to look good at the beach.
This is getting exciting, brings back memories. 3 years ago that show was my debut and super stoked working with Layne. Every week I asked "Am I gonna make it?".
Rest assured, you will make it, you will do well, and you will have the time of your life!
Keep doing the great work you're doing! Its all worth it.
My friend is 78 and he will be there too...age don't mean squat.
and no, you're not full of sh*t. LOL
