Does anyone know, are you able to change the title of your thread? Do you need to message an admin or something and have them do it? Since I will be mass building like a brick house over the next 2 years (targeting NABBA Nationals 2014 as my next show), I wanted to update this thread title if I could to kind of transition into the long off season.
If not possible, I have no problem just creating a new thread on here. Just wait until the demon is unleashed in the gym after 3/4 of a year contest dieting. Gonna get real.

Thanks - it was really bland and dry as I try to use a little water as I can and I am also foregoing splenda. I'm just about to dig into my 2nd cup of oats (54G carbs), which leaves me with one more cup around 12:30 - 1 AM, putting me at 162 Carbs for tonight.
Tomorrow morning I will get up EARLY (6 AM) and make a 6 oz fillet mignon on the grill, along with some oatmeal (1-2 cups) and some almond butter.
Did some posing about 90 minutes after my first cup of oats, and already have a bit more energy which is nice...

Post Contest Food Plan
So after the contest, we will be at the will of whatever is open at that hour (11 PM). Most likely we'll hit up a Taco Bell and then either Denny's or there is a local diner called Around the Clock. Will be a bunch of us going, and is always the best part of show day Ok, well almost the best part. If you place and win a trophy that is pretty damn exciting too!
Sunday I'm planning on picking up 2 dozen dunkin' donuts along with a pumpkin flavored coffee or cappachino and then heading to my in-laws to pick my son up (they will be babysitting him tonight and all day tomorrow and tomorrow night and bringing him to the show to see me). Will share some donuts and then pack it up and head home in time for Football.
Then we will order the Pizza Hut big meal box where you get 2 medium pizzas (pepperoni and mushroom for me and mushroom and green peppers for the wife), an order of breadsticks and an order of wings. I then plan on digging into the rest of the food below as well:
Monday is up in the air and will be an eat whatever the hell I feel like day. Tuesday, it's back onto my macros to try and reverse properly for a change.

Wife is on her way home from work now, but will be at least 11:30 until she is home. Decided to hold up on another coat of Pro tan for now, since it's close to bed time. Going to stick with the plan of 1 more cup of oats at 12:30 AM along with half a slice of cheese cake and then hitting the sack.
6 AM will wake my wife up (she will not be happy) get another coat on, hitting all my joint areas as well and start with my carb up breakfast. Good night all!

Up @6 AM after probably the best 5.5 hours of sleep I had all week. I was out! I think that little bit of carbs gave my body a bit of normalcy and helped me get into a deep sleep. Had a cup of oats this morning along with 1 Tbsp of Almond butter and a little bit of fillet mignon. Heading out in about 1.5 hours for registration and competitor's meeting. Going to bring everything I need for the show, including all food, posing suit, etc... with me even though I plan on coming back home for a few hours before I need to be at the venue for my pre-judging tonight.
More updates to come...

Good luck today Stan! Just getting up on that stage with the conditioning you have is a victory in my eyes especially with all of the obsticles you have had to overcome this prep. Way to stick with it, very inspiring!

Thanks everyone!
Checked in and finished with competitor meeting. Looks like there will be around 6 guys in the pro division and monsters they sure are. Gonna look dwarfed up there but plan on posing my ass off!
Settled down into some comfy padded seats to watch the pre-judging for the amateur portion and then will go relax somewhere, pick up my sub and then come back around 6 to start prepping. Should hit stage around 9PM I think for pre-judging.
More later...

Very thrilled to be done competing for awhile. I told my wife that I was mentally and physically not into this last prep and I feel it showed. I am just worn down from a long year. However, I have had tremendous successes with an open class win in June, getting my pro card and my coaching business taking off. Therefore I can't be down about this last show - it has been an awesome year for sure!

Show Recap
Well it's over. My first pro-level show with NABBA. In case the pics below don't give it away, it is an untested show and I knew going in, not being on anything, and being rather slender to begin with, that I would have a mostly uphill battle. Conditioning was good enough in my previous show (State Level) to win my class, but this time, not even close...
Ultimately, I feel like I was under-carbed, which is unfortunate. I felt like I had barely filled out by the time the show rolled around. Also, however, I wasn't nearly as lean as I had hoped to be. I could come up with a dozen reasons/excuses why that was the case, but in the end, it doesn't matter, so I won't digress. Carb wise, I had started loading Friday night @8PM, ate 160 Carbs before bed. In the AM, I had another 54 from oats and then 1 small piece of cheesecake. Between 11 AM and 5:30 PM I had about 1.5 cups of sweet potato. I had a 10 inch turkey sub with no cheese, pickles and yellow mustard @530. Then I had 3 rice cakes with jelly/almond butter between 630 and 830. A snickers bar at 9:15 and then on stage around 9:30.
The class I competed in was the pro-open, which had only 4 competitors. My wife only got one pic of the entire class, and unfortunately everyone's in the middle of hitting a pose. The guy 2nd from the right ended up winning (his legs are obviously not flexed in the pic I have here)
The class before mine however, the 40+ masters Pro had most of the competitors. NABBA seems to have predominately older competitors so the masters class is always stack. Take a look at these physiques and tell me otherwise!!!
Here are a couple pics from right after the show with a buddy of mine from the gym. He finished 3rd in the Novice - Medium and 4th in the Open - Medium
I have a video of my posing routine (didn't have my wife snap stills). It's about 60 seconds and I will post it to YouTube and link it here shortly.....
So what did I learn? Several things. Most importantly, I just cannot mentally or physically take such a long season. Started dieting in February, competed in June and looked good (full and lean and a good 7 lbs heavier than this show). Then I had about 5 weeks off and then prepped again for 16 weeks. My body hated me. Also, mentally I wasn't in it. I had several setbacks which really messed with my head such as a bad pec strain leaving me unable to train chest for the last 2 weeks, a 2 week trip to Romania at 6 weeks out which left me with poor training facilities and sub par diet, and stubbed foot with a week to go which hindered cardio a bit. While those were setbacks I didn't have much control over, everyone has obstacles that come up. Where I failed I think was mentally.
SO - with that being said, what's next? Where do I go. No matter where I decide to compete, I'm taking off until 2014 to do some growing. It's much needed as my arms never get bigger year to year and frustrates the hell out of me and overall size and thickness couldn't hurt. I highly doubt I will enter a NABBA pro show as most of these guys are not only enhanced, but also have 20+ years training under their belt. At only 9 years myself and lacking enhancement, I find myself struggling to be competitive, even if I nailed my conditioning.
Will train hard now, starting with Sheiko 29 sometime next week, not sure when. Going to start my reverse diet on Monday with 250 P, 158 C, 62 F and go from there. Now it's time to step back and focus on bringing my many clients into stage ready shape, as many of them have shows this coming March and April. I plan on being as active as ever here, learning lots, encouraging everyone and pushing to grow and get better.
Thanks to all who have followed me thus far and I appreciate all the support you have given me. I would have quit this show prep months ago if it wasn't for the love and expectation I felt from the community and my family. Until next time I hit the stage....watch me GROW!

Post Contest Eats
The post contest eats this go around were probably the most reserved and mild of any of my competitions. I really wasn't feeling all that hungry this time around (just thirsty), was kind of tired and felt dejected and not really celebratory in anyway. However, I did put away some solid calories - so much so that my stomach still hurts as I'm typing this and it's 3 AM
We started off at Denny's where they had Hobbit movie themed breakfast specials, so I got some sort of hobbit slam. Each item had a clever name but the only one I can remember was Shire Sausage. The sausage was HUGE and I kept referring to it as Bilbo's sausage throughout the meal:
After that "slam", I had a couple milkshakes:
On the way home then we hit the Taco Bell drive through. No pic of that meal unfortunately, but I picked up a cheesy gordita crunch and a beef supreme chalupa. All told, I ate all of this food in less than 1.5 hours. I'm still bloated as all hell. Had 2 glasses of Diet Coke and a little bit of water. I'm still crazy thirsty right now but no room in the stomach for fluids so going to have to wait a bit.
Tomorrow as I said the plan is to pick up a couple dozen Dunkin' Donuts on the way to pick my son up from the in-law's. Probably grab a specialty coffee drink of some sort, maybe a pumpkin cappachino if they have it. Bring my son back home and help my wife get packed up and ready for work (Pure Romance), then my son and I will hook up Pizza Hut delivery while watching football, ordering that meal deal box with 2 medium pizzas, wings and breadsticks. Later as I get hungry I have chips and cheese dip, hard pretzels, poptarts and various cakes/cookies to eat.
Come Monday, it's back to business, back to work (my day job) and back to the gym. I know by Monday evening I'm going to be rearing to DESTROY back, test my max on deadlift and start on the long road to improvement.

Yes you can, i emailed Emma and she kindly changed it for me (i wrote 2012 instead of 2013 though :P)
About your show, Well done for getting on stage after everything that come in your way during this prep!
You have done everyone proud, be good to see you at a tested show considering you work so hard
During your prep this community has seen determination, when others would of thrown in the towel you kept your head high and carried on!! That goes along way
Looking forward to offseason, it will be nice to spend more time with family as it goes so quickly
Sheiko 29 alot of people have enjoyed lately, hoping you do too.
2013 will be the time for you and your business to grow considering how many people are going for a contest
Also in for the big refeed (how many boxes of poptarts will the demon demolish)
Well done!!!!!___Growing Mentally and Physically ___

Posing Routine
The video missed the first 5 seconds or so, but here it is. Was unhappy about the fact that as soon as pre-judging was over, the MC was like, "OK, Stan don't go anywhere!", and they had me do my routine right then, with no chance to catch my breath or shake out my muscles. Did what I could though.
If anyone knows how to rotate MP4 (Quicktime) videos, do share? I know you can if you have Quicktime Pro, but alas, I do not.

Video of Pre-Judging
Here is the video of my pre-judging. I watched it about 4 or 5 times now. I think I had some good poses, while others were lacking terribly. My rear double biceps for example - maybe it was the angle at which I was filmed, but my elbows seem WAY to pushed forward. Anyways, you can get an idea of how big the guys are I was competing against. Honestly I think if I had better conditioning, I could have beaten one or two of them, but I just didn't get it done.

I think you looked great Stan. You just competed in a pro level contest. Most people can never say that-even guys on these boards. Awesome job, and I'm sure in the next few years you will put together an even better package. Enjoy the eats today!

Thanks John - it is a great accomplishment in and of itself to qualify to be on that stage, I agree and I'm happy with that. However, I'm always striving to be the best so I will always have that little voice eating away at me inside telling me to push harder and be better Gonna try to pace myself with the eats today if I can help it!
