Decided to throw this pics up here, although I'm not too thrilled with where I'm at. I definitely had visions of greater conditioning going into this show. Granted I had some hardship along the way and I'm still unable to get a chest pump due to my injury, but I have high expectations of myself. No pulling out now though and I know alot can be accomplished in just 10 days and I plan to do just that. I also feel a tan and some favorful lighting will help a bit too....

Hoping for some quality sleep as I have to train legs tomorrow AM, which I never really enjoy doing so early in the day. Then it's time to drive across the state, check into our place and then strap on me running shoes and get some cardio in. May scope out the Y once I get in town as well and see what my $7/day is gonna get me

En route to Pittsburgh! Opted to sleep in until almost 9 AM this morning and was much needed. Decided to take the day off from the gym and will do an hour jog/walk once we get to our destination.
Weight was up to 188.5 lbs this morning after refeed but felt pretty full, maybe a bit spilled and made note of such.
9 days left to kill it. Sanity and relaxation is within sight but until then, there is work to do!

Cardio to the extreme
After a 3.5 hour car ride to our timeshare I was ready to get my cardio done and over with.
40 degrees and a light rain wasn't ideal but I put my hoodie and pants on and struck out. I somehow managed to get lost during the run and had to call my wife to pick me up. I was so cold and tired I must have zoned out during the run and went much further than planned
All said and done I ran 6 miles at about a 9:45 pace. Burned almost 1000 calories. Needless to say I was so BEAT when I got home. Took a hot bath to thaw out.
Tomorrow checking out the local YMCA and will prob do shoulders/calves and push legs to Saturday if my legs r killing me in the AM.

I did that one time on my senior class trip to California. We were staying at a camp up in the mountains and I decided to take a run by myself. I started down hill and zoned out to my music. I realized where I was when I made it to the hotel we had stayed at two nights before which was 10 miles from the camp, and it was getting dark. The run back, uphill, in the dark, in the mountains was not fun. I though for sure something was gonna come out of the woods and kill me lol.

Thanks Rock! Up this morning and breakfasted. Just waiting for my clothes to dry (soaked from yesterday's run), then heading out to find this YMCA.
Hips r toast from running yesterday so going to hit shoulders/calves and as much cardio as I can tolerate.
Wedding rehearsal and dinner later tonight. Maybe run up and down the aisle at church to get more cardio in, we will see.
Also, my brother gets into town later tonight. Will be fun to catch up.

Thanks guys. Really pushing hard these last days. Peak week will be more like bust my ass week at this point
Got to the local YMCA this morning and for 7 bucks was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped it was. Workout was like this:
[b]Side DB Laterals[\b] - 25x12, 30x10x3
Machine shoulder press - 4 sets
Barbell Shrugs - 135x10, 225x10, 245x9, 245x9
Front barbell raise - 45x10, 55x10x3
Rear DB Laterals - 20x10, 25x10, 25x10
Side cable laterals - 30x10
Rotary Calf Raise - 6 sets
Treadmill - 15 minutes @3.8 MPH Incline up to 5.0
Cardio was brutally tough and cut short due to hip soreness. Gonna try a 2 mile jog later this afternoon.
Felt depleted and rundown as hell in the gym. Wasn't until almost the end of the workout that I felt any semblance of a pump. Gotta make it to Sunday and some carbs....

Took a walk out around the golf course that the house is situated on. Was cold and rainy but enjoyed the time with my son and father-in-law. Really hoping the rain lets up though because I'm dreading the idea of another run in the rain today, especially because it's in the mid to upper 30s today.
Found out the rehearsal dinner is going to be at an unscale Italian joint called Luigi's. Will most likely bake some chicken breast and bring it in a ziploc bag, order 2 house salads, dump chicken and enjoy.

Yeah, I would have been happy to relax on the sofa and rest, but you can't say know to the little voice saying, "Daddy, wanna come outside with us?" No amount of fatigure can keep you away from that! Were out for about an hour and my toes were popsicles by the time we came back in.
Ziploc bags were always my go to. Being that I work from home mostly now I have the luxury of cooking most my meals fresh (or asking my wife to do so), but I used to ziploc bag like 12-15 bags of chicken breast when I'd boil up my 10 lbs of chicken breast so I'd be set for the next several days!
