Did you deload before starting Sheiko big fella? I jumped straight from one 10 week cube cycle to the next without properly deloading and had the same issues, required a further 5 days off to readjust and get ready for another 10 week block of heavy duty training!

Kind of. I mean I didn't work out sat or Sunday the weekend of show and the several days before that were simple pump workouts, no heavy lifts. Sheiko is demanding to be sure and you adjust to the high volume. I feel I am recovering great from the workouts. After the first week I have next to no DOMS or other soreness at all.

My belt fuarked up my ribs. Need to be careful, especially when you're leaner! No cushion

Life has been good. Enjoyed the long holiday weekend with the family and back to the grind tomorrow
I have actually been out of the gym for 9 days now, a purposeful break from the weights. Was just not feeling the motivation in the gym and it's the first time I took a week over in over 2 years. Felt nice to not have to hit a 2 hr gym session after work and instead just play with my son.
Back at it tomorrow though and looking forward to it. Picking back up with the 4th and final week of Sheiko 29. I have a feeling the weights will feel heavy and DOMs will be out of this world!

It definitely will be Stan. I hit that place at 5 AM this morning and when I first started it wasn't bad at all, but by the time I left (6:30 AM) you could already feel the place starting to heat up. So that along with all the weekend warriors and the vacationers coming back after a holiday weekend (and being a Monday) good luck ...

Soon to return...
Sorry for the long absence - this week is my 2nd week back in the gym after an almost 4 week absence. Still grinding to sell our house which is incredibly tiresome and sucky.
Plan to get back to being active on the boards at least every other day. Should have some time later tonight to swing by everyone's logs and say hello
Take care...

Thanks Harry - it's a process, I'll give you that. Been going on since the beginning of June and lowered our asking price 3 times now. Fingers crossed that the showing later today is the one that pans out. Going on all in with putting all but the bare essentials into a storage unit and cleaning the **** out of this place
Congrats on the new home purchase
