This is a common misconception, all those good looking guys are actually very masculine looking. They're just groomed well. Most goodlooking men have a short distance between the upper lip and brow which is a common masculine face. Women also like men with thick eyebrows and a strong brow bone which is masculine. Not to mention the jawline/chin which is well known.

OP I do understand what you're saying, and I agree.
Take a 10/10 dude, shave his face, trim eyebrows, put on a wig and some makeup, and you'll get an attractive looking female. He'd probably fool a lot of guys into thinking he was a hot girl also.
But ultimately an attractive dude is attractive because of masculine features, not feminine features....Navy DEP (nuke)

however while everyone involved agreed while these "feminine featured" men were attractive to ladies it was not the end all characteristic women seek

I think OP may be onto something here. I remember in Asian History class, in old Chinese opera/movies girls were commonly cast to play the lead male role cuz girls actually found female facial features more attractive than male facial features. Then again this is Asia though, most modern male Asian stars look feminine as phuck.

Maybe because attractiveness is basically hormones and genetics, besides hormonal traits basically the same things are attractive for either gender. Take someone with good genetics and add a large amount of estrogen testosterone and they will be attractive. Strip them of these gender traits and you have the overlap of what both genders find attractive, does that make sense?

Joe Rogan was talking about this on one of his newer podcasts. He was saying women want a male female hybrid. So manly features like a big chest, abs, muscles but as well as feminine features like long flowing hair and a feminine face and also a sense of romance.

ITT: OP does not understand duality.
Also chicks are not as visually driven as males (why romance novels are so popular), therefore you will see hotties with ugly kunts who don't even lift. Let's not even get into materialism, but if we're talking about why a straight woman with little to no material drive would be attracted to males, we're basically them but more rugged. Likewise they're pretty much us, but just more beautiful.
Post above me gets it, females desire a balanced male, one who is rugged and in control, but one who also has a softer side (romantic/caring). Just like males enjoy a balanced female a submissive, care provider who also has a wild side and can be spontaneous and take control in certain situations that call for it.
