I can't say anything about the Worst, it doesn't look appetizing but I'm not well-versed in Nordic/Icelandic cuisine.
I couldn't put a best on a category but Turkish sure as hell is up there.

pretty much agree, greek food is up there being so similar with turkish imo, just less spicing in greek food. italian is also awesome, the rest are a level below

those don't really come to mind when you think of "home-cooked european meals"... italian cuisine can't NOT be in top 3 (personally #1, but different ppl have different tastes)..
then you get into more eastern cooking, czech, polish, etc.. lot of pork, dumplings, cabbage, etc.. you can't compare to anything else really, there's nothing else like it

I know nothing about cuisine but I think its safe to say Italian is by far the most popular. Greek is very homey, stuff you would want to eat after being at college for a year. German food would be pretty popular lots of sausages n meats

listen I can't speak for russian food (maybe not that great, seeing as a lot of russia is desolate/rural) but I can tell you that I am lucky enough to have authentic czech/polish/eastern european food on the reg, and it is definitely #1 in terms of food that's simple (meat, potatoes, dumplings, veg. etc)Originally Posted by saintpatrick
