You don't consume any trace of protein until 48 hours prior to your workout?

    7 hrs before workout =carbs

1-2 days after workout= protein day

so when do I consume the protein?

    -some immediately after workout
    - the day after workout

    - would it be worth eating protein 2 days after workout? (my question is whens the deadline? - the time where your body doesn't use protein efficiently due to too long after workout)

You should eat protein everyday if you want to grow in size. When you do it doesnt specifically matter, as long as you reach your target macro for the day...

If this is the case it's better to get some every day then none at all. The body is constantly in repair, and needs excess protein to build mass.

Bro if you don't drink your hydrolysed whey protein shake within 15 minutes of finishing your workout you will go catabolic and lose all your gains.

    this is so **** .
Ka0s :In my experience, doing heavy barbell squats, bench presses, deadlifts, military presses, rows, etc. builds no significant muscle mass.
What you need to really get big is a solid routine which focuses on light weights and cable movements to really force blood into those muscles and get that deep burn & powerful contraction

You consume protein every day, 1g per lb of bodyweight is a fair guideline.
our body will use protein efficiently all the time, it's essential for muscle growth.
If your referring to protein as a whey source, whenever convenient, morning, between meals, post-workout. It really doesn't matter.

The time at which you consume Protein is irrelevant. Protein consumption immediately after working out is unnecessary and a myth UNLESS you are working out again in the next 3-5 hours and need to quickly replenish ATP stores.

Just make sure you're ingesting enough protein DAILY.

    Here's a scenario.

You workout on Monday at 7:34pm. Would having 145lb of protein on Tuesday have the same effect consuming 145g of protein on Wednesday?
