Imaginary lat syndrome guys who keep hogging the machines and weights.
Guys who say they have 1 more set and its yours ends up taking 15 mins for that 1 set.
Newbies asking to work-in with you and perform same weight as you with bad form screaming.

Am I the only one in here with a ****ty spotter the other way around?
When I'm actually struggling my dick off he tries to "psych" me into doing more reps on my own by barely touching the bar and not helping me rep one or two more. This usually just leads to me recruiting shoulders and tris while benching just to survive the set. ****ing ****.

It's threads like these that make me all the more grateful for a home gym, but back in high school we had the option to take a lifting class. The class was structured pretty well; it was all free weights and there was a heavy focus on compound lifts and our final grades were determined by 1mr in bench, squats, and deadlifts.
Anyway, we had to be partnered up with someone as a spotter for almost everything, which isn't a bad thing when the guy you're paired with actually lifts and knows what he's doing. But for one semester I had this really skinny kid and... oh boy this kid. He was a nice guy, don't get me wrong but if I had the option I would have lifted alone. The only time he'd do any lifts was when in was our turn in the bi's/tri's station, bench press, or core station. Heaven forbid this kid ever do a single squat in his life. When it was time to do squats, deads, or cleans he'd go over to the dumbbells and curl. Every. Single. Time. He hardly went up in weight the whole year, and of course I get bitched at by the teacher when I'm doing 205 for 4x6 in squats when he's over on the other side of the room curling when he wasn't supposed to.
Man, I have so many stories from that class I could fill my own thread.

People who let the weights go from a distance so when they land, the hole gym hears it.... why you no put weights down slowly?!?!?!
this one bloke today was flat bench pressing 20kg dumb bells, and just let go at full range, made the biggest noise... if i can slowly lower my 40k dumb bells, surely you can slowly put down your 20's -.-

-when guy curling ton of weight swinging every rep and making the most sexually disturbing noises that overpower the music from my earphones
-when someone is using the only olympic bar in the gym to do ab work on the mats
-when someone is doing incline push ups in the squat rack
-when someone is doing dumbbell lateral raises in the middle of cables machine area when whole gym is free

people who occupy a bench or a machine since my gym doesn't have many (poverty gym) and they do nothing most of the time
a retard...literally retard who looks like a serial killer today as i was squatting and let the bar in the rack and went to drink some water took my bar and my plates and used them for his bench press...
i was mad...
also the stupid trainers...they tell me all the time that i m using to much weight for my age..a trainer today even said we shouldn t lift too heavy because the temperature is high...lol she s plain dumb
yea sure i m not gonna progress because u say it s too hot.strong logic
and some guy who sometimes goes and deadlift the bar of my friend when he benches because he thinks he will snap some sht up during the last 2 reps....while actually he can make it but it s just the LAST 1-2 REPS DAMMIT

**** it, to be honest, I hate my gym (brb planet fitness, yeah IK). There's this one tiny ****ing floor guy who always comes and ****s on me for whatever.
Didn't put the 100s down quietly after DB bench (****ing sue me it's heavy), comes and ****s on me, squatting with no shoes, ****s on me (better for my knees), ****ing deadlifting (no PLing platform), ****s on me.. Lol I was like lol?
Oh yeah, then there's this ****ing personal trainer, who's like 5'10 and ****ing skinny as **** who always tells me how to train... I'm like, if I wanted your ****ing ****ty advice, I would have asked you to train me.
Sigh. /rage
I hate PF.60% of the time my posts are helpful, every time.
