anyone else feel weak, tired and brain fuzzy right after eating

I've been cutting for about 6 months. Not a real aggressive cut, I eat 1900 to 2200 cals. But for the last month or so I get very (overwhelmingly) tired, weak and brain fuzzy right after I eat a full meal. I notice it most after lunch at work. Is starting to make it hard to function for a couple of hours at work. But, my work outs are very strong and I have even gained strength on several lifts.

I rarely have cravings, but I had been craving a Snickers bar and broke down last week and ate one a couple of times after lunch. I actually felt way better almost right away. ??????

    Anyone else gone through this?

I eat 160 to 180g protein, 60 to 70g fat and the rest carbs.

It's odd that this happens right after eating. I think you're gonna have to do some experimentation and report back with more info. Try eating less carbs at lunch, more carbs at lunch, having a lighter lunch, skipping lunch and eating twice as big supper (if that's an option for you), bigger lunch and smaller supper. Change up your food, try remove gluten and see if that helps. Corn? Nitrates? I'm not sure what you're eating. Just change things up and pay attention to how you feel.

Your kcal/macros look fine for a sedentary job to me.

This. Or try to have some sugar as carb sources.

I,m going July 13 for my routine full blood work and stress test. I just though maybe some others on here may have gone through this and had some ideas of what to look for.

I like my doctor, but sometimes I have to lead him in the right direction. Doctors tend to look at generic problems of the mass population and overlook stuff specific to cutting diets and lean people. I have found over the years I am pretty sensitive to my diet as the calories get cut lower.

While I have a thread open, could I get a body fat estimate too. Cant post pictures yet.

My first thought is wondering if you are getting enough protein. If you do not have enough protein at each meal, the blood sugar levels may decrease and increase giving a noticable effect on the body. Protein will help regulate blood glucose more.

    Thank everyone for your replies.

I thought it might be carbs too. When I googled my symptoms it seemed to point to carbs. But I can eat 3 egg whites and 4 strips of turkey bacon and get the same crash as when I eat chicken breast and veggies or oats and toast.

It is just odd that carbs like bread does not help, but refined sugar does. It really screws with my macros and calories when I have to try and squeeze in 2 or 3 hundred empty calories of sugar into my day just to get through the afternoon. For a week now I have been eating sugar cubes after meals when I feel the crash coming on.

I have been slowly phasing out refined sugar from my diet since late 2009 when I cut sodas and backed off of sweets. Before that I was a sugar addict for 50 years. Can my body really not know how to function without it now?

I eat 200g apples,100g oranges and 100g grapes daily in my carb allowance, seems like there would be plenty of sugar in them.

^^ This for me too. Doing IF myself, love it. Been since mid march. Weight loss had stalled mind you, but that's a different discussion.
But I've noticed this too. I get a light headedness after I break the fast at lunch some days. Not all the time mind you.

Hey man, if sugar gets you through and you can stick to your diet and other healthy foods long term don't stop just because most people don't. Your body knows what makes it feel good.

I have experienced exactly what you are describing and find that a cold glass of orange juice or apple juice does the job very well. It is still sugar but at least it is a natural sugar with some vitamin content, better then a snickers anyways lol. Good luck.
