Are you ****ing serious Eric, this is why people hate you. They want to target hamstrings by using a variation of the squats, its not to "bastardize" the quad excercise its to ****ing hit their hamstrings. Its similar to other excercise variations targeting different muscles. Pretty sure you used modifications, variations, etc of the original excercise, you sounded like a contradicting moron stating that the quoted above.

Ever heard of Close grip bench press instead of regular distances or wide grip bench press? Same ****ing concept you moron. Targetting particular muscles because well thats the muscles you want to ****ing target you morn.
And towards your "The logic makes no sense"
They do it because they want to target those muscles more. Maybe they're lacking in that area and they want to stimulate it more? They could do isolations but well, what puts more stimulation than 225 on what your targettingLast edited by xkevin1234; 06-15-2012 at 11:00 AM.
