Just started the second cycle of summer training at my college. We are doing a lot more running now and stadium steps. Lifting wise we are hitting high reps with low weight now. Like on incline yesterday we did 5 sets of 10 at 70% Just mixing it up. I like the way our strength coach does that. Keep pushin past your barriers and never give up. Chase that dream. I'm fightin for a starting spot as we speak. Trying to be a freshman starter isnt easy. So im grindin hard.
“No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying.” – Tony Robbins
Remember that and just keep grindin.
Im out.

For you new guys lookin in this thread, I'll try to make it a little bit easier for you. Here are the main sites that will help you and heres the main things that i did/do to get faster.
This is the site that you should get your footwork from, for the ladders.

This is a few videos about hills, box jumps.
This is for your diet, if your just starting out its important that you follow this, you dont wanna just be fast, you wanna be big.

You guys that are just starting out and are hungry im tellin you man just keep grindin, keep puttin in work. You may not be anything yet but make damn sure when you leave this world you are something. Dont be the guy that shows up at the party and says "here i am" Be that crazy mofo that shows up and people start whispering "there he is" "thats that guy" Be the dude that the guys from the other schools are jealous of, let them talk bad about you it just means your on your way to the top.
You have it in you, each and ever one of you, ive seen hard work beat talent many times. I'm in college now and there are guys here that should have never made it, the guys with all the talent are sitting at home. Dont give up, dont give in to laziness, dont give in to mediocrity. Strive to be the best, We HUNGRY, lets EAT!

Btw all of these guys varied in height from 5'4-6'1 and in weight from 150-210lbs. You're a mile faster than all of them!!! However, obviously the coach thinks coz you're not black you can't possibly be faster than them.Training Journal-
